I am also negotiating with Pete for him so won't confirm quite yet. If Pete does accept the offer then I would be inclined to deal on that rather than just Fitz so you could try and outbid him.

I am struggling to see a fair deal without making it bigger and not sure that would work for me. Any fringe/squad payers of mine your interested in as well so we could try and work something?

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Iam still waiting.
I am open to letting Donnelly go but I suspect we may have different valuations of him. When I have seen him play I have seen enough to suggest he should be alongside Thorn in the WC so I rate him highly and it would take a Robshaw sort of player for me to add him to the deal.
Only willing to let him go as I rate Sharpe so highly and Sharpe has an added physical presence.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Just had an issue with my budget, had £30m taken off or so, which means that I am going to have to go back on the deal because I can't afford the players I needed to get to replace the players I was losing. Sorry to be a pain in the ass with that!

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
To me that is a lose on each account - Domingo because he is younger, Lualala because he fits in with my style of play, Attwood because he's English - and Kelleher because he's available all season.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
You will be trying to get Sheridan off Chris from now on mate.
I am holding onto Kellaher. As gooder 9 as I'll get who isn't a current international.
Should be playing in a good team at Bayonne next year. can't wait for next Top 14 to start. Turning into the ERL with all the big money signings.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Would have to be a really good deal mate, as Attwood is very much in demand and I don't really want to lose him - would be interested in Robshaw was involved (possibly). But a bigger deal could be good, but I have got a deal with Steven in the pipeline, so would have to be quick so I could cancel it if needed!

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I rate Attwood and DOmingo a lot higher than Kruger and Barcella - I would need something involving Bowe if I were event to consider letting Attwood go. Espc as that deal sees me losing two English players.

rudey poo - just saw that Steven confirmed the deal I had with him - was actually meant to take that down last night as I dealt some other deals - at least I have Sheridan now though and Mike Phillips - neither best of form but they should come on strong next year!

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
He lost his place because he p'ssd off the O's management because he wanted to leave there and play in France - Kelleher was 34 and probably had one more season in him, so had to get rid and I think Phillips / Simpson will compliment each other during the season - got 3 very good no9's coming through the ranks too Charlie Davies, Sam Harrison and Stuart Commins - just need one of those to push through this season and things will be good!
Off to a wedding now - will come up with a deal when I'm back - although I do have my iphone....

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
What would you offer for Casson or harden. Casson is a strange one to price.
He is pure quality but still starting out. Most think he will be england centre for many a day. Very powerful. Would take equivalent youth or Decent Squad player. I signed him ages ago on the back of the u20s WC.
May, Saull and Wood not for sale. They are involved in my match day squad. May will be a super star which means he will probably not stay at glos in real life

I would not Yann Thomas for Skirving. Not a fan and spent so long trying to get rid of him when i had him.
I have owned so many of your players in the past. Bought Read, jauzion, Mermoz etc in to the game.
Got rid of mermoz for Guildford and another good player. it was a cracking deal. Mermoz has it all but never fit.
Makes Barcella look robust

I think we only rate players differently when negoiating ;-)
Show me one person who desn't over-value their own players...
Juan Smith + Wigglesworth + Ojo
Croft + Youngs + Biggs
My problem is I lose Croft and Youngs, arguably England's two outstanding players, for Wiggles and Ojo, two fairtly average players miles away from the International scene.

Sorry mate, as much as you try to talk it up, it's losing Croft and Youngs in the same deal, without getting top quality EQ in return. It just won't happen.
One of the two maybe, but certainly not both.

Similar to how I feel about Youngs.
You want him badly enough mate, you're going to to have to cough up a top deal.
Pretty much all you missing in your side...
