Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
From nergoitations, our biggest problem is you are only willing to improve my better players (you listed Rougerie, Barclay, Hines etc)
I don't see a lot of point in losing Youngs (one of the most valuable players in the whole game), just to improve players who are plenty good enough anyway.

Just nosing around looking for a HK for the W/C period. Duffey doesn't get much game time at Leicester, and Szarzewski looks to have got back to fitness and found some form, so going to the W/C. Hoped he'd be left out.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
seems so!
Hala'ufia probably wont play as he's so hated by a few on here! i rate him think he's a quality ball carrier.
would need the likes of wiggles, ojo, robshaw, medard, AAC involved. i can add too to any bigger deals.

They will be my starting 1,3,7 and 12 during the World Cup, so make me an offer but it will need to be good.

Not convinced about the need for a fetcher. Don't see a lot between Pocock and Dusautoir in terms of ability, just differing skillsets. Pocock mainly a tackler and turnover man, but doesn't carry loads, whereas Dusautoir carries well and tackles but not so much of a turnover man.
Think Dusautoir will fit my gameplan for next season better.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
What would you give for gear? I have him top 3 in world.
Personally wc time best 3 in world will be
1 habana
2 gear/ Guildford
3 Ashton
4 bowe( higher but Irish don't play to his strengths)
5 medard
Higher than all is JOC but he will not be wing. Too good needs more ball and should be closer to it.
Best prospect ever maybe?

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
He is a proper competitor. If he had pace he would be Bok every time. So physical.
Despite being a 1 eyed glos fan I have to say their is nowhere better
To watch a game??
Been going for 30 years and am 34. Played 2 games for them in friendliest and a few a team as well as 19s and 21s.
It's the dream of any lad from the forest. Same as newcastle in football.
A mate of mine went on football tour to Newcastle last week and said it was a different level. When you go on rugby tour you think Newcastle easy game.
Once went to Belgium and we played the national side. I came out with a fun wig taped Dooley style and playing in slippers. We scored 100 within 50 minutes at 4 points. Try

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Cheeky fat bid for CauCau there - almost missed that one! Toulouse are slowly making him better, scoring some good tries again, so am wanting to see how he is over the summer and see if they can trim him down a bit - could be very valuable to me during the WC as he can play 13 too, although if training doesnt go well for him this summer then he might be starting in the front row...

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Not wanting to sell Domingo, unless its a stupid offer really - its likely he wont be around for the WC, which would mean I'd have a front row of Domingo, Webber and Hayman, which is pretty good going for then.
Might change depending on who I go for in the foreigns though!

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Taken from Planet Rugby's team of round 14 last week: 1 Benn Robinson (Waratahs): Showed a lot of scrummaging power against a team who are no pushovers up-front, and made life very uncomfortable for the Lions front row.
I'd swap Chambers for either Barritt, Ojo or Hipkiss.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Domingo is the best young prop in world rugby, he's got a leg injury so will be absolutely fine - if it was his neck, shoulder or back then there's an issue.
I've really tried to strengthen my front row this season, as I think its where people marked me down before. I do need another hooker though!
Where are oyu looking to strengthen?

Yeah I know what you mean mate, most Aussie props struggle scrummaging. Research always helps when trying to make a valid point haha. Not interested in Crockett at all mate.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I've got Sheridan for that mate! Have two front rows to play, Sheridan, Hartley and Hayman or Domingo, Webber and Stevens. Rate them all very highly, so not really looking to do that much chopping and changing there.

Aaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh
I was unaware of that, think young Driver may have just done me up like a kipper. You never know, he may well reconsider, that was said a while back and things change.
Can't do Parra, just can't break up him and FTD. Ah well, I shall resign myself to not getting Mermoz!
