I've always loved him personally, and he's looked very bright since coming back from injury. Pushing Cowan all the way for the WC spot IMO.

That's a decent offer mate, but I am struggling with losing 2 English and only getting one back.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Blair would be ideal for us. Got some very raw talent on the wings in Brady, Amesbury and Addison and he would be ideal to try and bring it together.
As for that list of players Donnelly is the only player I can foresee leaving. At this point in time I'd be looking for a straight swap with Vermaulen if I was to deal

Pooly coonie not for sale. Think he is a one off and will become a bok superstar. This may bite me on the butt saying this but I would not swap him for mccaw. That's how highly i rate him.
Think elstadt coonie etc will be wc players

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
It's whether we have Goppereths shooting boots next season , there's a reason why Gooson has been playing 10. Don't think they expected goppy to leave and where going to ease catterick in over the season as he's not ready to play 10 at AP yet so they must be rushing godson into 10 as a quick fix

I'd need him for all other Internationals though mate.
Crane a decent bench option though - you don't have many EQ back rowers at all.

Go and ENJOY your holiday mate and stop trying to be a Del-Boy with your dealings lol.
Enjoying it so far?
With the players you mentioned I would be looking for better players than Ojo, Hipkiss and McAlister, or be offering other centres as part of the deal.
Unfortunately you listed a lot of players that i wouldnt want to get rid of - will have a think about it!

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I'm not the biggest fan of those three players mate, think they work well in the free flowing rugby of s15, but have said quite a few times on these boards that I dont think all s15 players would make the transition across to the English league.
Also I think that Barritt doesnt play your gameplan that well - he works for Sarries, but could stiffle a lot of your attacks...
Still think you've got a good backline, would like to see a big 12/13, say like a Lualala or Tindall in there - someone a bit better than Barritt.

Would you add anything else in at your end, just that Mitchell is still an international.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
SOrry for slow response, been all over the UK the last 5 days!
Lualala has proven his game is suited to Eng/Wales for last 3 years - also Siviatu in my opinion is ideal for the more robust nature of the AP, which is far more forward orientated than the s15. Not convinced that Savea would too though.
I think a lot of southern hem players look much better than what they are due to the way the game is played in southern hem. There is a lot of rain in NZ etc, but the pitches dont turn into mudbaths like they do Oct-Feb in the UK.
I've always tried to bring in players that suit the AP conditions, e.g. Hayman, Davies, Albacete, Elsom, Phillips, Lualala etc.
