Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
what players would you consider as his level - I think it will be him and Lawes in the England second row for next 5 years or so, so rate him very highly, he's getting better and better at Bath too.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Parling could be a very good player, but Tigers have too many top locks and can't see him being a guaranteed starter each week for them, espc as Skivington is now finding his feet. Though a Kitchener/Paling combo would be pretty darn good.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
They have too many locks there - always thought it was an error on Skivs part to leave Wasps, we;ve missed him a lot. Might be a bit biased but think he's a very good player, guess he thought going to Tigers would get him int recognition - reckon he could be ahead of Parling in the pecking order atm.
Don't forget Mafi as well there!
Attwood is a really intelligent player, going to Bath was a great career move for him and he seems to improve in every game so far - he needs to learn how to get into the thick of it though. He's one of the best young locks about, though I think Launchberry could catapult up the pecking order - been so impressed with him, if he carries on developing then we've got a very, very good talent there.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I really like Attwood but he needs to nail what type of player he his, he doesn't seen aggresive enough to be a enforcer and his lineout work is solid but nothing to force him into the England setup. I'd like to see him really put himself about this season and learn a bit from Grewcock (could go wrong!)
Pooly could not agree more. I have coached attwood but my friend has since year jot. Always said he lacks the aggression. His dad was unofficial photographer for swest u18s yet only took pictures of Dave. He did a loan at dings div 4 and it hardened him up a bit. Has such ball skills and athleticism but gets intimidated. Apparently big jim Hamilton tormented him in training and despite being bought in as a mentor type ruined his confidence.
A fit and firing attwood is a great footballing second
Row with talent rarely seen

I really don't think Bath are the club to bring him on either Matt, be a shame as he's a real talent.
Think Mafi might settle in the backrow

You would need to build a team around him . He is a 4 but needs to harden. Imagine bakkies, thorn, roussouw etc. has wc talent and hands like zinzan

Williams is going to be very good I think so don't fancy selling him..needs decent level. Look at Chris's offer and improve on it
Mercer + W Skuse 4 Grey + Welch
Could work out incredibly for either of us depending on who develops best

Lol that's the main reason.
Mate you won't be getting anywhere near Cole/Waldrom without including a TOP EQ, and at TOP player.
Don't see us getting anywhere TBH if you need Cole.

All about depth mate.
I could be tempted to let Mullan go, but would need a pretty decent deal to do it.

Would need an OTT offer for him mate, as I'd be giving you an EQ option in a place where you don't have one.

Clark starts again for Saints...think he's firmly established himself as first choice for them now. Think he could soon be England material if he keeps this up, Summer with the Saxons and then next season who knows!

Wilson's gone off the boil a bit recently, think Dowson will move to 8 in some of the big games, with Clark and Wood on the flanks - their both so good at the breakdown, think both really underestimated their.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I was thinking about him. Depends when our next transfer window is really.
he's a good player but from what I've seen has a bit of a limited game. Him and Faianga together are unbelieveable as a defensive unit.

to be honest - no idea mate. he's a blooming good young player, but no idea of his value. I think that he's pretty much my only other loosehead, so he's potentially quite important for me!

Plays both sides mate - never a point in selling a promising youngster for a couple of mil as they could develop into very good players.

Linked up very well with Mermoz at 12 didnt he! Made some lovely breaks but most pleasing aspect was his kicking. Still of the opinion he would be best in the centres but this could be a cracking little move for him
Out of those only Lipman would be available. Who would you do for him?
