I think he's being used. They probably let him tag along to pick up the tab for their "business lunches" and to hold their gloves and coats when they have a sh1t.

It may not have been a deliberate ploy. They could have just assumed the guy in the green shirt and green 'jersey' was facilities and that he was there to tend to their needs during the trip.

You could well be right. And Tino, being so eager to be a big help, would never dream of objecting.

Me too. Easiest people in the world to read. Basically tell them something and they will automatically argue the opposing view, it is hardwired into their DNA. Bit like Az on a massive scale.
I just tell them the opposite of what I want to achieve and let them bury themselves. Easy. They drink like lunatics though.

Was on a scuba diving holiday with a few Ruskies a couple of years back, their drinking was nuts. Everything neat. Not even ice as it waters down the vodka. 'At most' they'd stick a slice of cucumber in........

It's the vodka I can't handle. Sounds like a stereotype but they do drink it in bucket loads. I am alright with a few beers and some wine or scotch or something but when they are lining up 24 shots of vodka and we haven't even reached dessert, that is when I have to give in.
Seany probably thinks they are lightweights.

Not advice, it is fact. Vodka is a Russian (East European) drink. They traditionally drink it neat to keep them warm because it is f###ing cold out there.

Re: The Culture Cup round 6
I have got some good advice when it comes to drinking. Do not buy Stella from supermarkets - it is not the right stuff. I stopped drinking it a while ago but my mentor swore that the only real Stella you could get was from cornershop type places. The tin should also be embossed rather than smooth. Anything else is a cheap imitation.

Speaking of booze advice, and not buying stella, there's some cracking ales about these days and the festive brews are all out for Xmas.
Had a couple of pints of 'Rocking Rudolph' down one of my favoured work boozers the other day, very nice indeed!

I have done a bit of research and he was correct. The majority of stuff on sale in the UK is made in Wales. The proper stuff is made in Leuven, Belguim. The french stuff is definitely different, you don't get plastered or hungover on it. Bloody Welsh have a lot to answer for.....

Not a big Stella fan Sean, even in my days of drinking lager I never saw the appeal. Heineken is a different matter though, lovely now we get the proper stuff over here. Tend to stick with Guinness though as a rule.

Me neither. Never really liked the stuff.
Been drinking a lot of Sam Adams lager recently. Quite like a few bottles of that at the weekend.
I drink more wine than any other alcohol though.

How is that even comparable?
One gets you drunk and tastes lovely, the other make you flounce along like Graham Norton.
I like Jeff, but that is unacceptable behavior.

If you like Red and have a Co Op near you, try their Cotes Du Rhone. There are 2 types but the Ogier (£7.99 usually but £5.99 at the moment) is very good, comparable to the stuff you get in France. There is also one that is £10.99 by the same firm which is very very good. Even the french mother in law liked it.

Thanks Seany, I prefer red but some white is excellent as well. Don't have a Co-Op near me but I will keep an eye out. I can carry it home in a plastic bag like a man should.

Bugger. Just googled her first name:
GENDER: Feminine
USAGE: Ukrainian
OTHER SCRIPTS: (Ukrainian)
Maybe she likes football? I can wax lyrically about the glory days of Dynamo Kiev with the feared combination of Andriy Schevchenko and Serghy Rebrov........

Yep, that's how it works. Mate used to work for a Big 4 and all the hot female junior auditors got booked out on jobs really quickly (basically getting all the best and most interesting experience) as they were so well 'liked' (read, aesthetic) for the clients.

My teeth are in A1 condition now, not quite Rylan quality but getting there. Could probably do with a haircut and toning down the beard though.
