Richard Hibbard to Glaws !!!!!
First topic message reminder :
Another one leaves Wales, Richard Hibbard is going to be playing for Gloucester next season, all the best to him, it looks as though the exodus is going to get worst before it gets better.

Hammer
many a true word Hammer....
A critical point in the season this Sunday, when Wocester come looking for desperately needed points.
Could be a major banana skin for Glaws against bottom of table.

Traditional there has often been a surge in performance for the bottom ranked side, especially if they should be playing better than they are. This may happen to Gloucester. But it may also happen to Worcester.

Last year we beat Wuss with a last minute penalty try and we were playing well then! On paper we should have beaten many sides so far this year, but Sunday is going to be a massive game. It will shortly be followed by Irish away. So it is a make or break period...

Yes, we keep losing close enough to pick up those losing bonus points

When Sarries won the AP final vs Leicester in 2011 we did not have the best frontrow. Our success has not been built upon a particularly strong front row, it's been the defence, lineout and breakdown work.
Wasps frontrow was never really that strong throughout all their success was it?
Having a decent frontrow is of course what you want but if you have other strengths...
Hood83 I agree it will strengthen the first team sure. I am sorry it sounds like I am being really negative. I think it's a step in the right direction for Gloucester but more work is needed. I feel that you focus too much on the frontrow you might fail to acknowledge that the likes of Morgan and Ksevic are underperforming.
I'm a bit late onto this, and I know it's about Hibbard and Gloucester, but I have to ask - how long have you been following rugby beshocked?
The Wasps front row when we won 8 trophies in 6 seasons) from 2003-2008 featured the following:-
Craig Dowd, Tim Payne, Tom French.
Phil Greening, Trevor Leota, Raphael Ibanez.
Will Green, Phil Vickery.
Lions and national captains in that roster, and all bar French were internationals.
The only team those guys ever had a slight problem with was Tigers. But then again so did everyone else.
Mind you, Tom French came out of the academy to do a number on Tigers in the 2007 HC final.

I have followed rugby for long enough. You are absolutely right. I apologise. Sometimes one forgets how good players a team has had in the past.
