Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
I don't see him at that level, think Parling is a better lock myself but it's all personal opinion.
I see him kinda top AP level, like a Robshaw, maybe a bit lower. I could do a better foreign player or include something in a deal.
What players interest you?

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
I don't think Skivs has ever really kicked on at Leicester tbh, although I do like him as a player. Parling has really been missed, seen Cockers say it a few times. He's their best lineout op by a fair distance and a good carrier.
I imagine Deacon/Parling will be first choice with Skivs behind and Kitchener learning the ropes over the season. Then add in Slater who's prob been their best lock this season. Leciester have some serious options!
I really like Attwood but he needs to nail what type of player he his, he doesn't seen aggresive enough to be a enforcer and his lineout work is solid but nothing to force him into the England setup. I'd like to see him really put himself about this season and learn a bit from Grewcock (could go wrong!)

You know I need a lot. He's a real good prospect for the future, could see him getting to the England Squad in the future if he continues to develop.

Savea tried to step up last year and he was pretty garbage. I'd rather get Grey than Harrison and Wallace tbh

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
If I played Mason + Geragthy I’d be slated. Harrison is 3/4th choice at Tigers and a year younger than Youngs. He was behind Chris Cook for England U20's.

Ha ha I was about to make 36 my kicker but went with Brock at the last minute as was worried people would say 'why choose a young 36 to kick when Brock's experience would be better'!

Cheers bud. Will take all advice on board.
Keen not to rush wilko in. Undecided whether to play him next week. I'll most likely have Yach on kicking duties when he's back in the side.

I could do you a loan swap of Waller for Abbott mate.

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
Mullan is a full international mate, would need a better player than Abbott for him.
Would need Attwood, which i am guessing you wouldn't want to do.

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
I've got Toeava mate who is a better player and brings as much power to a backline as Lamont. Also with FTD, Nonu and Davies back power's not really an issue.

I'd need a good deal mate - he looks a real talent and starting to get serious gametime now.

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
There's no value for me in giving up Kitchener in a deal for Attwood mate, as I am looking to improve my depth in the second row, so losing one lock for another doesn't really help me to achieve this.

Think we are struggling for Mullan mate.
I could do Waller for Sam Harrison as a loan deal.

Might consider
Youngs + Poff + Nalaga
for
Webber + Messam + 1/2p

Big jump from establishing yourself as first choice at club to England team.....
Clark is a good prospect mate, never said otherwise. Still think Dowson/Wood/Wilson is Saints best backrow though

Just seems like Mallinder is rotating his flanks at the minute. Don't think tomorrow is his strongest unit as Woods is on the bench.
Wilson has only recently returned from injury not sure how he's been off the boil.

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
I expect the same. Priestland's form has been great for me. Pete selling him to me must be one of the few deals which have turned out to be a bad piece of business for him.
When it gets into the wet conditions weak in weak out I'm hoping that being able to bring Brits and Cooper off the bench will be as gooder impact as you can get!

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
Cheers for steenkamp link. Some hit. To be fair people who don't rate him know very little about rugby for me. Carries scrummages better than any loosehead currently.
Like most props got a few hidings when young and now he hands them out. Been in super team of year SA player of year etc etc

Brits is on the bench for me, simply because I think my scrum would be seen as a weakness with him and Marler there.

Shame he didnt come over to union would be a cracking little player. Worth holding onto for now to see how this link up with Saracens go. Not overly sure if they would be allowed get around this no talking to other clubs clause

Just a fair deal mate. Could you get Attwood or Davies involved, could include a lock back maybe.
