Nottingham is meant to be a belting night out fella , my rugby club went a few years back and said it's the best tour/night out they have ever been on.

No mate had to put it on back burner with the missus not well. You can't really go wrong though, everything is pretty central.

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
Fofana makes your midfield much better.
Ashton foden and halfpenny good back 3 in any conditions but will always be susceptible to cross kick.

He said he wants to come back to the Chiefs, just wants to make big bucks while it's still there. Can't blame him really, Carter etc get 300k a year while he'll be getting 600k for 10 matches in Japan

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
Cheers mate just trying to gauge opinion on who I can get away with next season. Personally think Kvesic, although he has a good defensive game, will end up at 8 long term unless he moves from Worcester soon. Harrison looked great in his few cameos for Saints near the end of the season. Looks a real scavenger to me and has a good linking game to go with it. Think hes underage for the u20s this year so might be a good option come next season (13/14) for me.
Out of the rest of my academy I'm hoping Gilroy sees Irish recognition by the end of the season. Was probably the best winger in Ireland last season and reckon it will be him and Bowe for Ulster over the season so should get good recognition. Hanrahan should get good game time under Penney at Munster and should hopefully be good for the AW and Amlin. Addison should get good exposure in the Heino with Sale and a few more tries like the one he scored on the last day of the season and I might get away with him in a few games.

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
No probs, your team is quality. Few minor things but only because you asked and generally wouldn't pick that much up.
Lineout is your only worry moving forward. Scrum looks solid and pack as a whole very strong.
You have a few marmite players but we all do, that's what makes selection so hard.

You can't get around a bad lineout, especially in the winter months. Look at Bath.
I'd just pick up a lineout lock mate tbh

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
Clarke is a good talent as Is steph Reynolds. Clarke makes may look slow. He scored 2 tries against Irish in his only AP start.
A bit small at the moment though. I am off to the 7s final this week. It's at bath and Is a bargain for ten quid a ticket

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
Morning mate, cheers for the heads up on Manoa. Burgess is for sale so I'm looking to only have 3 scrum halves. Not sure about releasing Cato, would leave me with only three wingers, and with injuries and international periods that could leave me in a tough situation.
Is there any chance I could take Liam Gill on loan for the season for a fee?

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
Hmm depends who it is mate.
So I could have Gill on loan for one round of Aviva Prem games?
If I could have him for the season I'd pay a decent fee, or could swap him for Burgess if you're interested?

Re: Northampton Saints Squad - Fantasty Rugby
Was thinking of offering something along the lines of
JDV + ?
Faainga + ?
with a gain for you in the question marks. My thinking being you can shift Giteau to 12 during 6N whereas you don't really have a 13 during 6N with Manu and Benvenutti away and Tait still being a bit of a flight risk untill he gets some form back.

Cheers for feedback Chris, was just trying Read out at 6 as he started there for AB's. Think Faletau could play across Backrow though like you said.
