Re: Saracens
could possibly do barritt or twelvetrees instead of myler - problem with Stevens is he MAY go to the WC, think he has an aweful lot to proove with the saxons over the next month or so, especially with Cole, Corbs, Wilson, Payne, and even Belly about!!

I would do Rocky & Barritt
but for
Alberts, strettles and Stevens
I won't even look at another offer from another manager if you consider . . . have seen a decent one come in as well

Re: Saracens
I dont think Stevens ticket is secure as you think mate. If he doesn't perfom over the next few weeks then he's not going, I don't like Payne either but he's been tried and tested more recently than Stevens if 5 go you might well be looking at
Sheridan, Cole, Corbiserio, Wilson, certainly Marler before stevens but then Dorian Jones, Payne maybe - stevens is no doubt pushing for a place but bo guarantee

ok no probs understand you don't want to loose him.
agree about PJD I think he might move to get first team games and keep his england chances alive . . . bath front row maybe?? we are loosing quite a few players this season!

Re: Saracens
ok lets see what we can do mate.
I had my eye on a prop in foriegns but don't have the cash to get him was thinking CJ van der linde can cover both sides, would be a great replacement prop.
as for Elsom we will probably be able to eek something out?
what about (this is speculative)
Elsom, Day, Twelvetrees
for
Alberts, Bekker, Strettle
total shot in the dark inquiry feel free to shoot me down . . . am still trying alternatives for an Elsom deal feel free to send soemthing back

Re: Saracens
errr also how would you like the French combo in the engine room of Nallett & Thion?? I tried all last year to get that combo, think Pull had it in the end and it was rated very highly?
So therefore I could possibly include Thion in a deal?
Thion, Elsom & twelvetrees
for
Alberts, Strettle, bekker
?
right going to leave it there as there for today are way to many options! lets see what happens tomorrow as well!

Re: Saracens
hmmmwe seem to be getting somewhere . . .
am desperte for a cover winger though and think strettle would be a good cover.
I have Barritt or Twelvetrees to add if you can add strettle to the deal?
Bekker + Alberts + Strettle
for
Thion + Elsom + Barrit or Twelvetrees?/
inquiry

Re: Saracens
hmm think the problem we have is we both think the deal is slightly out of favour the other way lol
I thought the above one was ok - I couldn't add £10 mil to it as thats way too much in my opinion.
the dixon 4 hore is such a massive divide whereas barritt for twelve trees for strettle isn't that big a difference BUT i see your point as well!
now I can't do any front row as I am short so dixon hore is out anyway - hmm
at a push I would take Henson off your hands maybe or do
halfpenny & Barritt/Twelvetrees for Henson & strettle as part of a deal.
I am happy to use
Alberts & Bekker
for
Elsom & Thion as the opening part with that tagged on maybe?
whats your thoughts on that?

Re: Saracens
ooo hello your back!
if you can stretch to that then great - I think the cash I can't quite do you keep saying your down on 3 deals - I don't see it that way lol
with Henson out in the cold and posisbly no club to go to he's not in favour with many at all due to his attitude so would be a risk.
if you want to do the
Elsom + Thion + Strettle + Henson
4
Alberts + Bekker + Barritt + Twelvetrees
deal then coolI will do it but I really cant stretch to cash as I need my foreign deal togo through sorry bud.
let me know ok

Re: Saracens
ok think we are at an impass here and the deal is decent enough for both of us.
would prefer barrit & twelvetrees for Strettle & henson but good bartering man
ok lets deal on
Elsom, Thion, Barritt + Halfpenny
for
Alberts, Bekker, Strettle + Henson
that does give you an awesome engine room with Nallett and Thion!
lets deal that then
nice one!!
will go and approve it.

Re: Saracens
I have no idea what you have up your sleeve to be honest mate! But its great to see so much activity. Rowley can be a real pain, but he is keen, can't fault that and it seems BANAFAN is also lively.
Where you looking to improve now?
I have something up my sleeve which might be appealing but will take a lot of work and time, yesterday this game was beaming with activity and it's good to see a full set of managers very pleasing indeed.
Im looking to improve at centre and 14, but im really looking at Maitland. It's a very tricky sitution you have a New Zealand back line yourself from 9-15 while I want Maitland because I have Guildford on the other wing.
You also have Halfpenny who is a very good player and would start for most teams it's just a question of, are you willing to start Halfpenny and surrender your New Zealand back line?. Before I go back to college work I will give you this.
Maitland & Cowan
4
Davies or Evans & Kelleher
Maitland on form, but Davies is a very good player and you like Evans plus Evans can start 13 and wing, Cowan is currently in the international fold but some might say Kelleher is the better player both from New Zealand though.
Thank you

Re: Saracens
Didn't see you had Fourie, Fourie, Nonu, Kahui
I really could do with Maitland, and willing to give you Kelleher everybody rates him better than Cowan also he was in most people's top fives if I look back.
Cowan & Maitland
4
Kelleher & Evans
That's all I can see at the moment, Evans would come in for Maitland as cover while Kelleher will be an improvement at 9, and you still have your New Zealand half back pairing, Kelleher and Evans would be quality and experienced. While I will be happy aswell with Maitland and Guildford on my wings.
9.Kelleher
10.Evans
11.Gear
12.Nonu
13.Fourie
14.Halfpenny
15.Toeava
That looks very impressive, with Max.Evans, Kahui and Barritt as back up.

Re: Saracens
I was looking back on the top 10's on the actual 606 earlier, Kelleher was top five in most people's top 10's bar one being Steven_Sharks.
Cowan was about 9th-10th or not even in some of the lists.
Evans isn't going to be playing for New Zealand either, while Kelleher you can see for yourself is better rated than Cowan surely you want a highly rated player in your side. Kelleher with Nick Evans would be an amazing experienced combination.
Kelleher & Evans
4
Cowan & Maitland
Works out for us both, it really does improve you at 9 and Maitland improves my wing. You sure you don't fancy it I think it is good, maybe you want to get other people's views?

Ok im really looking to be busy in the next couple of days, if your not keen on Kelleher for Cowan that's fine.
Maitland, Waldrom and Toeava are three players im really interested in.
Brown, Lund, Evans, Visser, Poitrenaud can be swapped, Poitrenaud very good player can play centre now of course, you rate Evans and Brown is a very good 6.

Re: Saracens
Ok not what I wanted to hear lol but have to take it and accept your views.
Toeava, Maitland, Kahui, Waldrom im interested in, Nonu, Evans are not for sale and strangely you don't want to deal Kelleher 4 Cowan but it's your decision.
Anything involving Toeava, Waldrom, Maitland and Kahui would be good and would help me on my long mission. You have said yourself you think I have done well so far, but I want to step it up a gear like you have done.
Just a little help by my friends wouldn't go a miss, you are going to get decent players in return of course.
What do you say?

Re: Saracens
I guess so it has been hectic the past two days.
I have deals to 207, Pooly and Pull. Hon getting back to me soon.
Anything with Cowan, Toeava, Maitland, Kahui or Waldrom im interested, also Nonu and Evans interest me but you don't want to sell them.
Just make a starter deal if you want using any of those players, get your thinking cap on mate lol.
Thank you

No way lol.
Gear & Maitland
4
Guildford & Lambie
Best I can see, Gear is amazing but Guildford has been impressive this season, Lambie better than Maitland and you said you wanted him and that Maitland can go.
Im going to still try my task, but I think im going to fail.

Re: Saracens
ok so your after Slade.
see why you offer £13 but thats a bit cheap for me and I really have no options there except traille & Henson . . .
if you can come up with an offer then by all means - maybe player and less cash?

Re: Saracens
Joubert is a fine player but I have enough back rows - if loosing Slade I would def need a back to come in - what do you think?

Re: Saracens
understand where your coming from mate - I just can't let him go and not get someone in.
As for squad size, when I used to play this game I liked to have lots of cover for injuries. Nearly a full squad when I had Bath a few seasons back!!
let me see if I can get myself sorted and I will come back to you - the other problem is Slade covers many positions!

Re: Saracens
yeah FH WG FB CN = pretty bloody versatile! and he's going to be a top draw player!
it's got to be a deal with halfpenny really - which sucks as I have sent him to you already and any deal with him looses me value in the long run !
considering how good I have been to you so far, think its time for a bit of return on the ELsom deal lol

Re: Saracens
no fib = was going to release him but hten loosing halfpenny, Barritt and decided that I need to keep hold of some backs for now - if I get a deal on another decent FH then would consider moving him on but he's probably too valuable to me at the mo - sorry to messed you about!
