Wales tour of SA
First topic message reminder :
Halfpenny is out and recent news (unknown to me) is stating that Warburton will now also miss out due to a dislocated shoulder. It doesn't look good for us going to SA without these two and with our recent away form being so bad. Personally I think it would be a good idea if we had a midweek game before the first test against a SA Provincial team, using the majority of our first team.
Who would you like to see on the plane?

Nice skill from SA back line. The game is over as a contest. There is no intensity in anything Wales have done. We look distinctly tier 2 here.

To be fair it is only the SA backrow and Serfontein that boshes, the rest are running at the gaps.

We need to empty the bench bar hooky, take off powder-puff Charteris and anonymous Lydiate. Put Morgan at FB and Davies at SH and hope to salvage some pride

quinnell is a bit one-eyed as a commentator.
how did liam williams stay on the pitch for his cheap shot on le roux for SA's first try. he is the dirtiest f1cker in world rugby. such a liability.

I really want to see Wales start beating SH teams, but this is pathetic. Where is the intensity? No line speed, heads down, awful positioning, awful tackling. Hope they are getting a rocket up the arse

A true masterclass in aimless kicking and generally brainless tactics from Wales. I didn't think they had it in them to top some of their past embarrassments but by god, they're giving it a go!

Re: Wales tour of SA
the thing is SA aren't requiring to do anything else, du preez is varying the attack, le roux hitting the line, and the chips over the top are killing us, SA could step it up easily.
Cuthbert is useless in defence, the defence is rubbish in general.
We are kicking the ball away to SA most dangerous player?
Biggar is doing his best to be fair.
Also apparently Samson lee is on?

such defeatism amongst Welsh fans (well one at least)....don't confuse Wales mistakes with SA's supremacy- A quote from somewhere...how apt.
Hows the game going for you Scratch? Been fun? good on you. Enjoy the second half. more of the same...yawn...

Places should definitely be at stake, i'm thinking loosehead, tighthead, lock, scrumhalf, wing and FB places going up for grabs in the second half

There is absolutely zero intensity being shown by Wales. They look lazy, unfit and uninterested. Please do something second half.

not defeatist at all is it T man since we are being defeated and the game is gone.....or don't you get that
deeply sad that you pop up here for a cheap shot but then you are a NZer, we know from recent reports in the press and a hard earned reputation for poor sportsmanship that they are largely ungracious and therefore this sort of thing is to be expected

Re: Wales tour of SA
seriously what has happened since 2012? I mean in 2013 game against Ireland there were warning signs, but we have regressed so much since then, defence is poor, look unfit too, players haven't kicked on.
OR this is Gatlands masterplan...yes it must be this, he has learnt from the French in the 2011 world, oh gats you genius....

This is helping me feel a lot better about the game earlier on if I'm honest.
Feels like teams up here are at different stages of their development . The usual peaks and troughs in our fortunes.

Tman if you have a gripe with a user can you discuss it with him over pm as its spoiling the thread for the rest of us who have done nothing wrong, and we all need a place where we can cry about how god awful we are (is this how the Scottish fans feel??)

As all eyes are on the three battle rumble between England and New Zealand, it's actually South Africa that look like they're growing and growling into the team to beat.
