Re: Rabo play-off run-in
Gents,
this is it in a nutshell for The Warriors. They need to nurture the winning mentality that they have shown over the last 7 games. It is paraphrased succinctly by Jimbopip as:-
WE ARE GLASGOW - WE FEAR NO-ONE

Re: Rabo play-off run-in
So, it's a lot clearer now. If Glasgow win , even by one point, it's a home semi v Munster. The only possible change is if the Ladyboy's thirds fail to secure a home win against the shambling embarrassment that is the MFL.
The more I ruminate on it the more I find myself agreeing with Notch and Asbo; these matches are too close to call.
A full strength Ulster v a jaded looking Ladyboys
Glasgow at home v Munster desperate to get something from their season ( I was quite impressed with Conway Twitty on the wing)
I know I'm slightly biased, but I keep hearing a voice in my head saying, Glasgow v Ulster final. Yes, I know I predicted Glasgow v Ladyboys, but I feel an unopposed training session v the MFL in the final match won't help them prepare for the maelstrom that Ulster will bring. At least the Zebre game will keep Glasgow sharp. Ulster will probably put out a second choice team against Munster and thank God that they have another week to patch up their walking wounded.
Glasgow v Ulster final. That's my last word on it ...today.

Glasgow v. Ulster in the final. Yes, like the sound of that. One thought though. The only available (possibly) 18,000+ seat stadium in Glasgow is .... Ibrox! Well, some people might feel at home!

Wasn't quiet sure how Munster would react to HC exit but having put 55 points on Edinburgh Munster are really up for winning the rabo to end penny's reign with silverware.
Can't wait for the semi final with Glasgow and the chance to redeem ourselves after Glasgow thumped us at home.

Aye lads, good to get revenge on that nasty, cynical display Munster brought to Scotstoun last time out !

Re: Rabo play-off run-in
BlueMuff, I'd be very cautious about making any conclusions from putting 55 on Edinburgh.
In all honesty, their players are flogged to death (WP Nel, for example, won his 50th cap in less than two seasons. That's insane), and other than Visser, Scott and Nel, they're critically short of players who can compete at this level. Combine that with a lackluster performance by players who really didn't seem to care once they'd gone behind, and I'd fancy the Cheltenham Ladies College 3rd XV to put at least 40 past them.
Things will be rather different at Scotstoun on 16/17 May.

Ah, so the semi final is on the 16/17th of May. Or as we say in the Pip household.....Bigson's birthday weekend. I think I can see a present for the boy.
