Re: Munster vs Glasgow
Spot on Gee, if we win all our remaining games we are in the play offs and possibly at home. If we lose the next two then we will probably miss out. I wonder how close Western Isles and Fat Tony are to playing?

Re: Munster vs Glasgow
Hopefully the Spreys/Leinster result will be good for us tonight and act as a boot up the hole.
Taking anything from Thomond would be a good result as Munster are probably the form side in the league at the moment (regardless of Ulster's horsing of poor Connacht).
Says a lot about the quality of both Munster and Glasgow squads that each side can lose some key players (some losses by choice to what has to be a frighteningly good 7s side - Isles, Bennett and Matawalu in the same team!??) and still post line-ups that strong.
So hard to tell what the result will be. I like the look of pretty much all the Glasgow team, especially the back row (Harley on the bench is reassuring) but Thomond is officially a 16th man. Cannot call this one - probably a Munster win by 7 or less which I guess I would take. This is not the main game where we need to pick up points.

Aye lads not expecting a whole lot from this game but to sneak a LBP would be rather good. Massive effort required. C'mon Warriors

Re: Munster vs Glasgow
GC, Schiz, stop all this lowering of expectations. We are Glasgow: a win at Thomond, with try scoring BP and a trophy from Melrose, with Western Isles setting a new land speed record. These are the minimum requirements for the day. Also MFL lost again, they're not even trying are they?

Re: Munster vs Glasgow
Impressive flying wedge from the Warriors, who want to tackle Jonny Gray with Wilson and Strauss next to him?

Without wanting to curse it this is the most complete start from a Scottish half back pairing I've seen since the 2010 Six Nations when Parks was at his peak.

This van der Heever is typical safa, run hard, can't pass, no flair.

Re: Munster vs Glasgow
If Glasgow win then that means Ulster stay in 2nd place and our chances of a home semi-final increase- however it also increases our chances of missing out altogether on the playoffs and means we absolutely have to beat Glasgow next week...
God, how I rue us absolutely gifting Glasgow the win in Round 2 at Ravenhill. We should never have lost that game!
This means everything to Glasgow- Munster are half-dreaming of European glory. The home side look far from their best but the least they can do is deny the visitors a bonus point, surely? At the minute Glasgow look likely to take all five points.

Great start from the benefits boys! Just a fly half away from potentially the top team in this league. WHATEVER It TAKES!

It could be the difference between our sides at the end of the season! If Glasgow get another try here, they'll be four points behind Ulster with a game in hand so it means we really need to beat you next week. I'm not gonna lie- I've been waiting for that game since Round 2!

Hopefully we can get the win here but as an aside it's great to see Maitland playing so well- just like last week he is at the heart of everything-- at the moment!

I think that Thomond Park is just too big for a lot of Pro12 games. Especially when there are Heineken Cup semi-finals and possibly finals to save up for. Remember also Limerick is quite a small town, for a lot of Munsters fans it's a fair drive so that puts people off too.
Mind you, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones! Munster have 13k in for this game, Glasgow normally get less than 10k!

Re: Munster vs Glasgow
Shame not to get a bonus point. But what a win!!!! Outstanding defence in the second half. So chuffed with that performance.
Re: Munster vs Glasgow
I'm obviously not saying it is poor crowd in comparison to Glasgow or Edinburgh, but is poor for Munster!
