Reasons to be optimistic...
Reasons to be pessimistic...
. Our form (hammered by Munster, lost to Glasgow, lost to Zebre, lost to the Blues)
. Their form (only lost once in the rabo this year)
. The RDS factor (when did we last win over there?)
. Missing players
- Big Jack Cuthbert is off to the 7's, Tom Brown injured. Do we even have a back 3?
- Do we have any second rows left who aren't volleyball players?)
. Our players are knackered (Congrats to Nel on the 50 caps!)
. We're Scottish
Final thought...
Given that torture is illegal under international law, I strongly urge you to write to your MP's and maybe Amnesty as well and see if we can't stop this match from happening.

I see your Leo Cullen and raise you Cian Healy's
Think it's fair to say if Leo and Cian weren't rich rugby players they probably more likely be with someone like this

Only Sinatra got more.
Yeah, so far we’ve had, his last home game for Ireland, his last actual game for Ireland, and….?
Hardly in the Shane Williams category of long goodbyes.

Now you can sort of understand Healy getting someone like that cause he seems to be good banter, but Leo Cullen looks like the BFG and has the personality of an Aberdonian farmer - I just don't understand it!
Absolutely fair play to him though!

Croikey O'Blimey, you'd think that Edinburgh would want to give Leinster a chance in this match, but I guess not.GLove39 wrote:Sacrificial lambs XV announced

I wonder will DK increase on his massive tally of 2 tries for the year.....he seems to be getting white line fever given he fell over on his own last week with the tryline at his mercy...

Pfffft, is that the best you have to offer Leinster?
WE ARE EDINBURGH. WE FEARNO (every) ONE
WE ARE EDINBURGH. WE FEAR
Re: Lambs to the Slaughter – aka Leinster V Edinburgh match thread
Bandwagon, I'll have a pint of whatever you're having. This will be a cricket score. I am genuinely about to check with Paddy Power what odds I would get on the home TBP being wrapped up by the 30 minute mark.thebandwagonsociety wrote:Could be a tight enough game, maybe Leinster without a TBP

You seem to have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with the younger Kearney. Really keen to talk about him at any and every opportunity.

Is the SOB selection a bit of a push? They have two back row players on the bench with no reserve lock. They must not be expecting many minutes from him.

Could have been less,SoB made a great steal had the ball in his hands before the Edinburgh player knocked him over and ref called it as off his feet.

They should just go back to the old way where the TMO could only rule on the grounding, too many good scores getting ruled out.
