I cannot believe Roger is still in it. He should have played more aggressive from the start. I wonder if he has enough energy to continue at the level he is playing right now.

if I were to look up Fed's 5 set record against top rivals I think it would be a major worry here. He leads 22-18 because he let some poorer players take him to 5 sets, and always seems to win those.

My view is though that if Federer gets taken then he's not playing well or he's mounting a comeback

I worry about his fitness.  I would still give better than even odds to Nole.  But I certainly give better odds to Fed now than when he was 3:5 down in the 4th .

Hasn't been a physically draining match and according to google only 22C in London now. Fed should be physically OK.

Looked at the record and I think the 2 US Open Semis where Djokovic won despite Fed MPs were the only 5 setters between the two.

Nadal would be proud of this one.

That is hard against Nole - you can never guarantee he is not going to find a way to break, even if you are serving well.

This game is already massive.

Fed needs to rally like this a few points. Djoko is collapsing and crying for crowd support.

If novak is going thru a slump Federer needs to pounce now as otherwise he moment may go.

I don't see if that way.  He should try to avoid rallies and should try to continue with what won him the 4th set - more aggression.  I worry that he will revert to the game he played prior to that.

Maybe Federer deserves to win not based on this match but on the whole rivalry. Would be harsh on Fed to lose all three of their 5-setters. Especially that US Open match. Everyone remember the first MP but the second one hit the top of the tape, and might have been going for a winner. So if sneaks out a win today that doesn't feel deserved on the day I wouldn't begrudge him that.

Lets just hope he keeps serve
