No born and bred in Macc but he's always supported Spurs, he says it was because the kit his school wore was the same colour but I reckon it's because Spurs were a decent side when he was a kid so he gloryhunted.
I managed to get messages of support from Ossie Ardilles and Ray Clemence for him which he was chuffed with.

He got me into supporting Utd, he took me to Old Trafford to watch Spurs v Utd when I was around 5 years old in the hope Spurs would win and I'd support them, at the time they were a decent side whilst Utd weren't that great. Utd though won 3-0 and I decided to follow Utd.

You know Kwik Cricket doesn't count as adult cricket, right?Olly wrote:TheSecondComing wrote:That's the thing Nando, I don't make mistakes. One wide bowled in 34 overs. No no-balls. 4 byes thanks to duff wicketkeeping, and zero leg byes.
I come down the pitch to spinners, I much prefer them to pace bowlers.
I call 606v2 cricket match! Me and Nando captains. I pick Soddy, you get Cherries. I'll pick Viva, you get whoever. I'll then go off the board and pick TSJ.
Would like to point out at this stage I bat at 4, wicket keep and have a high score of 125 off 114 balls in adult cricket
I am assuming that the extra fingers come in handy whilst wicketkeeping

Hey that was proper, my tactics are simple. Go hard early whilst the field is up, then milk the singles and go after the Poopie bowlers.TheSecondComing wrote:You know Kwik Cricket doesn't count as adult cricket, right?Olly wrote:TheSecondComing wrote:That's the thing Nando, I don't make mistakes. Never a truer word spoken. It's not a sport anyway if only 5 teams play it.
I kind of agree you know. Why isn't it global? It must be a bit sh!t. Like rugby, only our colonies play it.
Although if 5 teams playing is your barometer does that mean the SPL isn't technically sport either? I mean only 1 team plays in that.
Ouch. There's 12 teams in the SPL (in theory, I don't know about practice).

Pleased with a draw given that Marky was going to do tactics and when he looked like he wasn't, I did them on my phone late last night!!
Reading the feedback, it highlights the difficulty in building a team to satisfy a different voter each week. For example, there are players that Azzy clearly rates, that I don't particularly, or that he views differently from me. If the schedule draw had been different and I had been voting on this weeks games, the results would probably have been different.
I have actually done tactics but was offline (and have been offline since yesterday) when I was going to post them due to a family emergency, apologies for not getting them send and glad it didn't have a negative impact.
Considering I've seen others get away with sending tactics on a Tuesday at a cost of £500k I'm shocked Azzy just did his own thing. Then again, I'm not at all shocked

I've warned people for a long long time to stop backing Crawley in accumulators, we're the most inconsistent side in the Football League!

Morning all,
Costa scored a brace yesterday in the match against Real Sociedad as we won 2-0. Quality stuff.
Today's question/discussion is who is your favourite young player around at the moment (under 23)?

No worries mate. I'm wasn't bothered, it's only a game and other things are more important. I only did them because I could. If I'd had the default loss instead, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have lost any sleep over it.

Marky the rules are there for all to see. Tactics deadline is midnight Monday/Tuesday, and I then have until Friday to do results. I chose to do them at the time that was most convenient to me, Tuesday morning. Which is after the tactics deadline.Marky wrote:I have actually done tactics but was offline (and have been offline since yesterday) when I was going to post them due to a family emergency, apologies for not getting them send and glad it didn't have a negative impact.

Tactics deadline = passed
Results deadline = adhered to and met
There should be zero problem here. And I gave all fair warning all throughout Monday that I was going to do that.
EoS = £5m for all teams, champions can nominate all 5 lawyers.

Tbf, I don't really have an issue with it.
Deadline is still Monday, voter can vote after that. I said before you can have tactics in late as long as its before the voter votes.

I think late tactics should get no bonus personally. And then we send Maurice round to give them a good seeing to.

Going to set a precedent here I think.
If the voter can't vote for whatever reason, I'll give 5 volunteers a game each, extra 500k for voting.

Between 10:30 and 11:00, sometimes I feel like there's not enough hours in the day. I've joined gym 2 months ago and that is eating up my gaming time, so it's work, gym, eat watch TV for a bit and sleep.
