For the attention of any ENGLISH and IRISH CLUBS coming to Cardiff for the 6N in 2015 (& wanting a game)
Gents,
If your club is visiting Cardiff for the 6 Nations and you’re looking for a ‘friendly’ fixture, then Cardiff Saracens http://cardiffsaracensrfc.mywru.co.uk/ would be more than happy to play you
A) on the Saturday afternoon following the England game on Friday
B) on Saturday morning before the Ireland game
we are based in the Roath area of Cardiff and our clubhouse is less than a mile from the city centre and obviously we would be gracious hosts !!
To give you some idea of the playing standard (or lack thereof ) , for many years we played in the local Cardiff & District league achieving some success. In 2009, having finished as runners-up in the Cardiff & District Premier Division for the previous two seasons, the club was invited to join to the WRU’s SWALEC Division Six Central.
Following a further WRU reorganisation we played in SWALEC Division Six South East in 2012-13, finishing as champions

and gaining promotion to SWALEC Division Five South East
This coming season sees yet more reorganisation and we will be playing in SWALEC Division 3 East Central 'C'
If you’re club is interested please drop me a PM, I’m the Fixture Secretary and past Chairman, and I’ll get in touch with more details
Cheers, Penfro
