Korobov vs Andrade fighting for vacant WBO middleweight title: Saul Alvarez will fight for vacant WBO super welterweight title.

Demetrius 'Boo Boo' Andrade will vacate his WBO junior middleweight title and move up to middleweight to fight WBO #1 contender Matt Korobov for Peter Quillin's vacated title.

It seemed like it would be Korobov vs WBO #2 contender Billy Joe Saunders for the vacant title, but the WBO mandated Andrade as they allow champions in a lower division to fight for a vacant title in the next weight class.

Bob Arum tried to paid Andrade to allow Korobov-Saunders to fight for the middleweight title, but Andrade's camp refused. Seems very unfair on Saunders as he had an agreement with TR and Korobov.

Anyway moving on, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez will fight for Andrade's vacated title. Alvarez's next fight is non PPV on HBO. He will fight either Joshua Clottey or James Kirkland. Should be an exciting fight, but I don't believe Clottey deserves a title shot. So hopefully Alvarez fights Kirkland, as 'The Mandingo Warrior' brings the thunder!

Anybody who abuses Mundine for 12 rounds has my vote.

Alverez v Kirkland non ppv sounds a little unlikely. Didn't Kirkland out price himself the last time the offer came around, he was looking $2.5 million. 
He should stick to robbing banks.

Hopefully we can see Eubank v Saunders while we wait....After all Boxnation needs good fights...and that is a mouth watering one.....and like Degale - Groves both winner and loser will have options.

Korobov was number one, Saunders number two. Arum and Warren were close to striking a deal with Korobov to face Saunders on the Fury-Chisora undercard, however, Andrade's team complained (they were offered a slot on the same bill) but the WBO must have decided Andrade will make them more money.

Arum has vowed never to work with the WBO official who made the decision (but not the body as a whole).

I'd be really happy to see Alvarez Kirkland, won't be a backwards step taken in that one. I'd also be interested in the BJS Eubank fight that's been suggested for a while. Seems to be a lot of talk about domestic dust ups after the Groves Froch fights, so why not add another?

They need something to lift that Fury-Chisora card. No-one's going to buy tickets to that one without something pretty good to entice them.
