Read today that WWE Creative are being told to think of new ideas and programs for Rey Mysterio to work and Rey is expected to work a normal schedule through to WrestleMania, with his contract expiring late April

Shame.....would have hoped he would have had a year off and then come back next years WM for his last match. Now the streak isn't hanging over him or passing the torch references, he could have come back for one last match with a bit of nostalgia. Sting would have been good. Yes, the match might not have been a classic but it would certainly entice people to buy the PPV.

The question i wonder is now the streak is gone and he appears for like a month a year, Would you consider bringing him as a heel like during his Ministry days now he's probably not as essential to the WM event as he had been the last few years...Could give Bryan something better to do then Sheamus tbh but can see why Taker vs Kane is the way to go out.

That's not a bad idea.

Would say as well that only appearing a month a year is in a wrestling capacity (I would have thought). I don't understand why he can't appear on shows in a HHH corporate role. Maybe as a direct rival of HHH himself......Vince wheels Taker out maybe?

I don't know the best story, but surely he could have a more on screen role? Or is it because he can't do the travelling etc.?
