Sorry, I've misinterpreted, it sounded right in my head but wrong as seen. My apologies, miswritten. Can see where your coming from there then, but that's not what I meant.

Re: FA Cup Final Thread - 2014/15 season
Disappointing performance, I thought Blackburn played alright, but the result was mainly down to a poor Liverpool performance. I think any slights on the defence aren't really that fair, Gestede caused problems early on, but for much of the game was kept quiet, considering the early injury, I thought the defence did quite good. I don't even think criticism of Johnson was warranted, he was really solid, especially coming in having played very little football. Lovren was the weak link for sure, constantly targeted. Hopefully Sakho can come back in, now he's fit again.
Just frustrating that the ball was moved around so slowly, put a little pace into the passing and Blackburn would have broken you feel, but it was too methodical. I definitely think the early injury affected the players, seemed to wind them a bit. Coutinho was poor, Sterling looks a little lost as a wing back as well. Lallana did well though, really bright. Can isn't ready to start in midfield for me, hopefully will drop back into defence for the next games.

Did I hear right that the replay can't be for another month?

Re: FA Cup Final Thread - 2014/15 season
Think all this talk of Liverpool being favourites for the Cup has got into the players' heads a bit and they looked nervous for the first time in ages. Agreed that our attacking play was pedestrian at times and whilst Blackburn were solid enough, we should have still been able to create more chances and put a couple away. It appears the replay won't be for another month due to some nonsense about clashing with the Champions League...which we aren't involved in!!!!!!!!!!
Still, we didn't lose but that's about the best thing we could say about the game yesterday.
Read that the pitch at Anfield had a ten year lifespan but was put in fourteen years ago. They want to replace it but with work being done on the main stand in June, they're concerned the diggers/cranes will f*ck it up and it may be too late to replace it afterwards.

UEFA in their greed for tv money have spread the quarter finals out to get more money and they won't allow domestic games to be scheduled at the same time. Ridiculous.

That's a disgrace. One more reason why I'd never want Platini running FIFA.

Really looking to this one, business end of things now. Feels weird seeing two teams like that considering the past of these two, the 22 out there wouldn't hold a candle to the teams of a few years ago

Th three other Qf's, including my own WBA were pretty dire, hope this one is entertaining. Want arsenal to show up & win this one, I can't stand United crawling to another lacklustre win

Re: FA Cup Final Thread - 2014/15 season
Home advantage, game is bound to be tight & scrappy in my opinion, given what's on the line, so expect the Van Gaal show to continue & them to win 1-0

Id be surprised if United don't win tonight honestly.

Re: FA Cup Final Thread - 2014/15 season
Young has been one of our best players this season and Ozil has been poor for a fair while now, the goal itself showcased his lack of confidence, giving it when he could have gone himself, helped by a bit of magic from Chamberlain.

Rojo pulls down Welbeck borderline if pen or FK but still a foul. Not given cos Michael Oliver is a Kumquat

That's a foul all day long. 100% not a penalty but a free kick resulting in a red card as its last man.

When was the argument made? The argument could be made that he was at one stage, de gea on a different level now though, world class.

Tbf at the time anything he hit ended up in the back in the net. Pretty much the same as Harry Kane & Bradley Johnson.
