Re: 6CW Chat V.2
PM me the details
I'll probably not start it until next week though as I am knackered from the amount I've worked and I have to do my WWA voting today as well.
QOTD?
Also Paul, has a GTG winner been decided? If so...how long has it been in the pipeline for?

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
Sent you a message on FB Viper about the match
QOTD - TBH JJ and I had a NOG creative session early in the new year so in reality we picked the ME there which dictates the GTG winner - We evaluated every story we have ongoing and walked through the natural progression of each, from there we came up with what we wanted to happen at DOR and then NOG, not forgetting the PPV in between Revolution
With PPV's a lot of the results are decided in advance, there is a certain level of flexibility to allow for no promoting and any sudden absences but the majority will be known in advance - We have a 6 months plan which we constantly evaluate and revisit so that it becomes a rolling plan, so effectively at any point we will roughly know what will be happening 6 months down the line
Some stories have taken longer planning - The merge with EWF for example was discussed in the very early days. Some are developed very late - Cagero dropping the UK title due to injury was influenced by real life goings on
It is safe to say that with what is planned JJ and I are very excited about 2015
*Anything you want to add JJ?

Without giving away any names how many of the roster were in the running for the win before you decided on one or was it a pretty clear decision due to where you wanted to go with it?

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
I'd like to add that I am very much looking forward to the JJ title reign that will span the next decade or so.
I like to plan way in advance, it has always been the way I do things in e-fedding. Now that doesn't mean that anything is ever set in stone because so many things can change in a short amount of time. But if you have plans in place from the start, even loosely, it is much easier to adapt when an alternative is needed.
We like to get an early Night of Glory card in place so we have an idea of what we are working towards. But to be honest there a few of the original matches that have now changed quite substantially.
You have to take into account a whole lot of aspects and you also never know when someone is going to hit their stride as a promoer, when that happens we need to decide if we should capitalise on the form and push them ahead .
There is always a rough idea of where we are going because in the main we aren't the sort of fed to base decisions off a whim. We give everyone a story to work with and there isn't a person on the roster who will be overlooked.
I'd like to think there is no such thing as a glass ceiling in 6cw, the opportunity really is there for everyone to get to the top
I'd say there was upwards of 8 guys we discussed as winners for this years match. Wasn't an easy decision and that is down to how competitive the roster is.

I am quite liking a QOTD session for the bosses. Not often they have a chance to get involved without giving stuff away.
So how about how many "surprises" will there be at Day of Reckoning?

Happy to take any questions Viper - Might not answer them all though
In terms of surprises their will be things that catch you off guard but nothing that suddenly happens out of the blue that makes no sense. I would like to think we are good at making decisions based on sound planning and even if something is a real WTF when you study it a little more and consider the hidden messages that I love so much things will make sense
Does that answer that one?

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
I won't go overboard but here are two questions:
1. We've obviously had some great promoers drop out since the rebirth...are there any who you felt were world title contenders before they disappeared?
2. Is there a storyline or a push that you now regret looking back on it? One that you felt would have been massive but never quite hit the mark.

Definitely Cagero had both me and JJ sit up and take notice, whether he would have been able to show the same level in b&f's we may never know. It was a real shame to lose Keith Leone and Jackson Black as those guys just know how to take a feud up a level also Thunder showed great promise . I am sure there are a few guys from early EWF days that JJ will say would have been really big
2. Is there a storyline or a push that you now regret looking back on it? One that you felt would have been massive but never quite hit the mark.
Not things that I regret but things I maybe should have thought out better or things that were never going to work:
Golden contract - Was just rubbish, my fault
Too many characters have disappeared that were really great backstage characters - I should have done more to keep them part of the show - Kelsey Callihan, Drake and Oliver Keane for example - It felt that they just kind of fell away
Are there any that you have thought mmmm that didn't work?

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
In EWF the guy behind Alex Garcia was actually pretty good and gave me an enjoyable first feud it's just a shame he didn't stick around. Originally Wood was going to be a bit of a ladies man and it would get him in to trouble but Garcia fit that bill as well so I ended up creating Emmy.
As for the Golden Contract, I liked the idea but I think it was hard to pull off in reality. I think The Brotherhood Of Plague didn't really work the way I had hoped but this again is an idea that works well on paper but is hard to pull off as it would be hard to find people happy to have their characters become followers.

Morning all
Yeah the Brotherhood could have been really good but I agree a large scale group like that behind one man is quite hard to pull off in efedding - The Church of Hero is 6WF is probably the best example of where it worked, at least until its demise
Nice promo Chris - Do you think The Red Arrows are fast becoming the Edge and Christian of 6CW?

Re: 6CW Chat V.2
If Plague was to ever come back I think the stable would be better for people who are struggling to promo or people who want a bit of a part time "contract" and would be happy to chime in here and there but give me/Plague a bit of freedom with their character.
Greggers character Chaos with his gimmick near the end would have been perfect actually.

The thing that made the Church of Hero work is that any new guys joining at the time were being used as Hero's minions, and it gave a lot of motivation to new guys being involved in a big angle right from the off, and led to some great promos.

There probably hasn't been a stable quite like it since.
Really you need an established face as leader and then two newer guys trying to make a name for themselves. Something like Kray, Riggins and Harris.
Anyone seen Saint by the way? He has dropped off the face of the planet

I've said before I think a stable between Wood, Gazzy and Masters would be amazing although it would probably die after two weeks due to arguments over who's the leader.

Genesis is the stable that almost ended 6CW - It was led by Lex Hart and Alex Walker and had Jackson Black and Mr Kenty as original members. It was part of the story that gave Lex the moniker of the cancer of professional wrestling

I kinda feel like there may be more creative scope with Hurst to go various ways with the character. Reborn is basically an idiot, I'm not sure he could turn heel and be convincing. Hurst definitely could
