What a beautiful finish by Walcott on his unfavoured left peg. Glorious.

Arsenal in danger of overrunning Villa at times; really, it should be at least 3-0 by now.

Villa not out of it, though. The Polish lad in goal is an error waiting to happen.

hopefully this ends the ridiculous media obsession over Grealish, been awful. Villa playing counter football with no pace options, totally brainless. Agbonlahor needed ASAP

Yep got to love that he slammed it home on the one touch with his weaker foot into what less than half a yard of space. Unfortunately, the gunners are legendary for creating chances and not scoring and then making a defensive or goal keeping miscue to give it away. Villa very much in this but it really should be two or three nil by now.

Benteke has been terrible today; slow to every second ball. Not chasing it down after losing it. A player who has no interest in being at the club and is showing it. Disgraceful really!

Owen this is how he plays for most weeks of the season until it comes time to try get himself a move - he's really not that good, if anybody pays £32.5 million for him it'll be one of the worst buys of all time

Conjecture all over the shop there, Owen. Looked up for it in the past few weeks. A striker playing up top on his own in a team getting brutally outplayed is surprisingly ineffective, but its all down to other motives really.

Easiest cup final I can remember.

Feel for you Westi, arguably not a worse side for Villa to play considering their recent record.

Wenger now the most successful manager in FA cup history and Arsenal the most decorated team in the history of the old cup. I am sure those two facts will annoy some people. Congrats to boys they all played really well. Can't think of a player who played and did badly.

So you think (for example) Liverpool paying £32.5 million for a £10-15 million pound mid table striker (Everton, Newcastle, Swansea is his level, not Villa tbf) would be a good move?

Interesting

In all honesty arsenal were different gear yesterday.

Interesting

To be honest I'm with Westi here. To think his value is £10-15 million is a joke. £32.5m is a little high, but hes got a 1 in 2 strike rate for a Villa side that has been pretty awful otherwise in his spell. He's 24 years old, has a better record in English football than Lukaku (who whilst being 2 years younger he went from Chelsea to Everton so it wasn't the "we'll see how much we can drain you of" tactic of small club to big club) who cost £28m. Villa don't need to sell him desperately and can use the fact that clubs are aware of his buyout fee to justify to Benteke why offers of a low amount are not accepted. I like Enner Valencia, but he cost us £12m at 24 having never played in Europe before and has scored 4 goals.

Benteke is gonna be at least £25m.

I think your dislike for Villa is clouding your judgement on a good player.

Maybe not quite woth £32m, but for me £25-28.

And to say he's not that good is just silly.

He was poor saturday, (as were the whole team).

I'd rather have Balotelli for £19m than Benteke for £32.5m - at least with Mario there's some resale value, Benteke is another Andy Carroll waiting to happen. And I'm a Belgium fan.

Hey, Benteke is a good player, don't get me wrong. But for £32.5m you could buy Tevez, Ribery, Ronaldo's left peg, Bony + £10m, Mandzukic + £5m, Lacazette...plenty of much better options out there and none of them lose their value after a poor season. Benteke was looking at a £10m valuation at Christmas, lest we forget.
