Re: 2015-16 Championship Thread
As another Blackburn supporter, I am seriously concerned about this coming season and our very future.
From the 01st July, we will have just 16 players on the books, and must be the only professional club in English football without any boardroom structure.
No MD, absent owners, £100M debt, no funds, no hope, dwindling fan base put off by everything and a managerial search that is going on as long as the EU debate. Only saving grace is our academy, which will be used to stock up our main squad next season.
The only glimmer of hope was the potential takeover from Seneca which Venkys simply ignored. I have no reason why they are still around, and what is in it for them. They have bled the club dry through mismanagement, poor appointments and taken on board shocking advise from those closest to them, who simply wanted to use the club as a cash cow. Well there is now nothing left, all player assets baring a handful (Hanley, Duffy, Marshall) have been sold and this season is looking at being the worse in my lifetime. Relegation this season without a shadow of a doubt regardless as to who the manager is, and I cannot see any other outcome other than administration.
Make no mistake, we are screwed!

Some movement.
Di Matteo expected to be named Villa manager today.
Blackburn likewise with Owen Coyle.
Also Gary Monk is Leeds manager for the next 3 weeks

Sidwell signs for a year. Solid signing. Ince and Towell there as well.
Should be good back up for Kayal and Stephens, providing both stay.

We hired Philippe Montanier to be Head Coach (we now have a DoF as well, well continental innit). Also awaiting confirmation we've been bought by the owner of Olympiacos.
So as ever, it isnt boring

My source from Bournemouth says Murray is signing on a season long loan. Excellent bit of business if true. Hopefully we can sign a quick striker to partner him, then have Hemed and Baldock has back up.

I ignore 99% of things on Twitter. Only listen to genuine sources.

Leeds looking good for next season, they've caught my eye for betting this season.
Signed Kemar Roofe - L2 player of year
Grimes is a good player, rob green, Marcus Antonsson banged loads of goals in Sweden top flight & Kyle Bartley.
