Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
I think Norwich will be ok.
Bournemouth, Watford and then one from Newcastle, Sunderland, Villa, WBA.
Having said that, still so early in the season.
There is a january transfer window ahead, players to come back, new signings, etc, teams will pick up injuries, etc.
only early october.
Lots of twists and turns to come.

Numerous reports are stating that this will be Buck's last game in charge of Liverpool, and that Klopp has already agreed a 3 year deal. Terrible timing if kt is true, right on the eve of the derby.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
I'd love to have Klopp come in and take over, especially if the owners have agreed with his supposed demands to have full control over transfers. But I can't see the owners letting this news leak right before a game like this, even they know the importance of the derby.

Exactly my sentiments. Would be happy with the decision, but not the timing of it being leaked.

Why is Rodgers going on about rebuilding Liverpool - hasn't he spent like 300m over three years? Shouldn't it be like built by now

Poor Brenda. A couple hundred million pounds more and he could have been a challenger.

He's brought in 31 players in 3 years, yet still needs a rebuild. Delusional Brenda at his best.

Seems like Sunderland have finally done what they should of done before the season started and got rid of that silly old man!
Hope they go for Sean Dyche. Class manager, deserves another crack at the Prem.

I do admire his delusion sometimes - have you seen his post match interview as Swansea manager when they lost at Sunderland. I'll have to find it post the link it's gold

Everton do not mark people. They did the same against West Brom

Maybe he is not delusional. Maybe Liverpool do need to rebuild. Maybe Liverpool do need to sack the previous builders for the poor quality of their workmanship and bring in a better quality builder.Olly wrote:Hero wrote:Olly wrote:Why is Rodgers going on about rebuilding Liverpool - hasn't he spent like 300m over three years? Liverpool can be grateful they got a point as they never made an attempt to get anything more. Everton were the better team and should have been against 10 men.

Don't you just hate it when you say a player is no good and he then scores three in two.

Very average from Manchester United against let's be honest a pretty mediocre Arsenal side.

The United players should be embarrassed by this.
Clueless approach to the game, from a number of experienced players.

But Smalling is brilliant!!!!!!!!!!
De Gea was amazing last season and stopped this happening. This year he can do nothing.

I'd be laying some blame at the manager's door. From the first day of the season its been clear how you play Arsenal at home, and Man United did no part of it.

LVG is the one who picked Schweinsteiger and Carrick together at CM, when neither can run anymore.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
It really is time to drop Rooney, he hasn't had a single decent game for us this season and whilst the performance today has been poor overall there's no need to panic. Tactical balls up from LVG not playing Schneiderlin to be honest.

Advocaat leaving is probably going to open the floodgates, Rodgers is the first but there will be more to follow in the coming days.

Bye Brenda. So happy you went now and not in summer, would have been terrified of getting him.

It can only be upwards for them, Klopp's record in the transfer window isn't great though and I can't ignore Dortmund's nightmare last season.
