Morning
I think the Arrows should be considered the top faces in the company based on the last year, they would definitely be the most over in my eyes - Thunder is definitely on the up. Adamson is still in that period where people don't know whether he can be trusted - He'll get a pop in an Austin/Angle way but he could easily transition to a heel in a heartbeat
Grace is definitely Reigns if you were going to link him to a current superstar - There was definitely a period where he was being shoved down the throat of the fans, he hadn't earned his position in their eyes - If he stands against the Forgotten that could be seen as earning his stripes at last
Heels - Jones and Kramer set the bar but there is definitely a spot for one of the roster to step up and be that big bad - Joshua was getting there and maybe him and Masters have lost a little bit of momentum with The Forgotten stuff but again they could come out of it as huge heels - Alternatively there could be room for a surprise

Originally I wanted to keep Wood as a face/tween due to the fact that Austin is a heel and I was worried they'd end up too similar...I want both to be top of what they do but I think no matter what Austin has more potential to be the biggest heel out of both of them. In 6WF he set people on fire...he literally ended careers on purpose...etc.
The what do you want for Wood? you have 2 heels at the moment, one which just turned after a long turn but you want the other to be top heel? you have baffled me good sir

Max Adamson ran Cassius Zhi over in a car, framed TGA, and it turned out to be because Hobo paid Max to do it, which is even more despicable if you think about it Also no heel in 6WF was as dastardly as Cassius.
I like Austin Stevens in 6CW and I liked him in 6WF but he was never at the top level in 6WF so I'm not sure what you meant when you said you want Austin to reach the same levels in 6CW.

I agree with Marky, you need to look at a bigger picture than taking people out, look at the current crop of Heels and most of them probably have done that at some stage, is there room for another Moster heel or wrecking machine in 6CW when you have Joshua and Cerberus now coming back

Re: 6CW Chat v8
Austin wasn't a top level guy in 6WF but at the time was probably the bigges theel...yeah other people do what he did but he did all of that stuff in less than a year of starting. I probably should have specified what I meant exactly by that line though when I said the same level...blame night shifts haha.
When Austin started in 6WF he was angry and offensive...that never changed...he was unstable and once again, that never changed BUT as time went on we began to see the reasons why he was the way he want...we saw his issues and his demons and as we went further with the character the stuff he was saying was getting worse.
We learned stuff about him and he became more of a fully formed character, there were reasons he seemed to be a dare devil to the point of being suicidal. There was a reason that he didn't care about belts and titles while wanting to hold the power they possess.
If that makes more sense?
As for the type of heel he is, Austin isn't really a monster heel...he's the Kevin Steen/Eddie Kingston type heel with a mental breakdown thrown in...he wants to kill everything that PG, mainstream wrestling fans love and he'll take himself down with it if he has too.

One of the main reasons I was a bit reluctant to make Wood heel was that I felt that he and Austin would be too similar, is there a big enough difference between them at the moment or are people feeling like they're pretty much doing the same stuff?

They aren't the same at the moment as Wood has only turned and isn't a full blown heel yet

Wood and Adamson are in the same boat really. Wood has been a face for so long that nobody truly believes he's a heel, similarly Adamson has been a heel for so long that nobody truly believes he's a face.

What will it take for both characters to be seen that way though, It would be easier to make Wood a heel and to show him as one that make Max a face

Re: 6CW Chat v8
You're right, I see Wood as a heel as that's how I'm writing him BUT I feel like he could turn face again without much help...all it would take is him pulling his head out of his ass and cutting the BS.
With Max when he was with Thunder in some of their segments and other segments where he was trying to rally the troops I felt like he was a face but it's when I think about the character in general that I feel like he could just turn at any point if it helped him.

I think with Max he needs a big moment for Team 6CW, like a chance to turn on them but he lays Jones out or he takes a big bump for someone

I think it'll come, Adamson will do something to help the Red Arrows, to earn theirs and the fans trust in full. I predict anyway, could be wrong, Adamson might turn heel again yet

Costello will help out until he realises it might not help him, he could turn so easily and it would make sense...right now he just wants that EWF Title back.

With Pauls clues in his post earlier, will someone (Wood maybe) step up or will we see a curveball and have a unexpected heel turn in the near future

I definitely don't see the Arrows as the top faces. They would be popular and over with the fans, but their position is definitely not as top faces. Possibly like the Hardys were, but not seen as "the man" (although in this case its men).

Paul, I'll be around for segments this week so earlier the better. I'd be just as happy writing segments for characters rather than deciding where each bit fits with story - ie give me an idea of what you want for Wood and I'll go off and work on something rather than just a standard thing.
