What was confusing?
Krasimir Marinov was their mouth piece
Varyag was a sadistic violent Russian guy who was loyal as hell to their boss
El Castile was a high flying, arrogant Spanish guy who wasn't loyal but Marinov kept him around because he was more talented.
Together they were violent and flashy, not much to understand really.

Re: 6CW Chat v8
The Death Squad got a little bit unlucky in that the Arrows were on a run and the tag division wasnt big enough for the Death Squad to feud with anyone else. I'd like to think they aren't dead (poetic).
In terms of where things go in the future for divisions, if the Arrows go back to tags I kind of want to put someone over then leave it there. Got shifted roles a little during the run at times and I didn't think heel worked, but I can't do the same schtick forever with them.

I see The Forgotten losing the belts back to The Arrows only for a new team to end their 2nd run quite quickly.
I added a promo from Austin and Hokori...I should have probably made a better one but I'll just blame night shifts for now, it has a more recognisable Austin Stevens in it.

I really dont have a scooby how to promo as a heel. Ive had the beginning of a promo for phillips written and i dont have a clue how to do it, its so hard. Writing for a face is soooooooooo easy compared to this

Re: 6CW Chat v8
Face is easy if you go down the route of being a bit cheesy, playing to the crowd and that sort of stuff...I think that's why I like Max as a face because he hasn't really change, he's just put his efforts in to going after the bad guys.
Heel can be easy too, talk about destroying the heroes and killing off the hope of the company. Call the crowd fat and talk about how stupid they are and in the case of Austin Stevens use bad language.

I found promoing as gazzy easy, never known any different. He was just a generic face that sucked up to the crowd
Struggling with phillips though, i think because hes part of the forgotten im struggling to get that in there instead of focusing on phillips if he was a on his bill
Trying to find inspiration going through youtube videos whilst supping on a bottle of Maple Jim Beam

I feel like Gazzy D for you is like Liam Wood for me...it's basically an extension of yourself so it will always come easy. I have to say I hope we get one last feud with Gazzy in the future...Wood and him never had a feud that I think would have been awesome.

Re: 6CW Chat v8
Id probably agree there tbh, every CAW ive ever made on a wrestling game has been gazzyD and when ive been in efeds before its been as gazzyD and it has been a bit of a character that represents me, albeit with exaggerated featuress (bit like when jim carey puts the mask on in the movie of the same name)
Yeah was a shame, i think we only ever had one fight and you beat me. Never say never like, but i think ive probably reached a point were gazzy cant come back given the mention of needing surgwry and whatnot

Criticising is a bit harsh, ruddy pot stirrer! They were just saying without the promos then it's hard to keep a title on someone, and I would bet Nay agrees.

Re: 6CW Chat v8
I couldnt agree more, hence why i suggested back in July that the belt be removed from Kidd as i just didnt have the time to promo properly and it wasn't fair to everyone who putbthe effort in.
I am sure though that Paul and JJ have their reasons for leaving the belt on Kidd for this long and deemed it best storyline wise instead of rushing to take the belt of Kidd because i messed things up for them.

Without giving anything away, I wrote the xtreme title match and once you read it I think you'll see why Kidd has kept the belt for so long.

As i said it i have no doubt there is a very good reason but to criticise me for not promoing when i actually stepped away from efedding in July due to time restraints just pisses me off.

Morning
I wouldn't say anyone was criticising you Nay - We hadn't widely communicated your absence and felt we could use a longer reign to build the story - Kidd is a character we really like so it was easy to keep him involved
We are always supportive of a reduced schedule if it means people can continue to be involved, as long as it's not to the detriment of 6CW - And in this case it was felt it wouldn't be

Nay, unless I missed something I don't think anyone actually personally criticised you so don't worry about that. I think the general chat was more about carrying a storyline on your own being quite hard to do as you have nothing to bounce off...I never once saw someone complain about you.

Apologies for the lack of promo times guys... Things have gotten very busy, very quickly these past week so unfortunately haven't had the time I wanted to right any promo's.
Anyway, I really enjoyed writing my latest so I hope you enjoy my promo hyping the PPV tomorrow... Looking forward to reading what happens next.

Re: 6CW Chat v8
You need to get the net at home Mr. Reilly
QOTD:
No not really. The main thing is to not push yourself too much and have two unique characters with very different voices. Keep to a promo plan based upon what is going on story wise and it shouldn't be too difficult.
It is when your characters start to blend and you end up recycling the same old lines......you need to always be one steps away from total reinvention.

I have the net at home but I do be too busy or tired to look at the show, I like reading in work with a cup of tea in the morning, I do read some of the reactions though to gauge how the show went and to look out for the big talking points
QotAfternoon:
Well two really first one, who do you think Reaper is? and two, have you ever had a "URGENT PM TO GM" moment

Re: 6CW Chat v8
Sounds like the best start to a day mate
Firstly, I have no idea who Reaper is. Not even an inkling. If it is a returnee then they have done very well staying away (Nando let the cat out the bag keep wandering around here). Reaper's build, last time I looked, didn't give many clues but I will have to recheck that in old shows.
Nope, haven't had an Urgent PM TO GM moment.....I usually send it regardless and say nothing. Or simply post it on chat and wait for the public sh*t storm

I'd love it to be someone from 6WF like Clarke James or Marshal Murdoch the Holy Sh*t factor would be through the roof
I have been pretty lucky with both my characters and how they were/are used not to have a meltdown about things plus I'm pretty easy going, the only time I was near to it was the first Invasion angle were Dicey was heavyweight champ and total left out of it until the final PPV haha trying to do promos and explaining why was a nightmare

Cab and River agreed on who was going to be involved in it and Dicey wasn't one of them lol, it was just after the big split in 6WF and a lot of them after a stint in Markys 6WE fed came to 6CW and I think the Invasion was a way for them to go back to 6WF its all politics in this game

Re: 6CW Chat v8
I had 4 characters at one point, although Deep Heat never really mattered so it was fine. I actually found it easier; you get the flow from writing one promo and you can compare your thoughts to how each character would act in the situation to know which direction to go in when you write. Moreover, you can use them to bounce off each other. I wrote a few promos after the merge where Robin and Jack became friends over issue with Ojore.
I also formed the friendship between Reborn and Hurst well before they were a tag team and made it pretty easy for the lads up top to make that happen.
As for QOTAfternoon:
No idea, you know I don't dive into the history, I sneer at it instead! As for PMs, I never really write any to the bosses, I have floated ideas but they do what they're gonna do so I leave it to them.

Ground Zero results are up, I really hope you all enjoy. Thanks to everyone who helped out with match and segment writing. Thanks for all the great promos as well guys. Last PPV of the year went off with a huge bang for me.
I'll be sticking up a feedback thread as always and we'll work on a card to get up for you all to promo as I imagine some of you are itching to get going again
