The Apprentice
So the new series has started with Claude Vader now becoming Lord Emperor Sugar's accomplice.
So who is everyone's favorites ?
Who do people dislike?

Re: The Apprentice
Show is samey, got old years ago. Same old nonsense tasks & candidates having all mouth & no trousers. The Western shampoo was decent, the guy who did all the work & named it, seems like he has a brain cell, can't say much for the others. Claude will just turn into a bore seeing him every week, he'll lose that fear factor he had, when just appearing for the interviews.

Agree with Liam - I think the best thing about Claude was him being wheeled out once a year to destroy people in interviews, I don't think he offers anything interesting in this new role, and loses the fear factor. Hopefully as the weeks go on, he gives everyone a bit more stick, but I think he is wasted as Big Al's assistant.
As for the candidates, the guys don't seem too bad this year, there does seem to be a lot of annoying women though! Apart from the crazy old bird that wears Keith Lemons clothes.

Re: The Apprentice
Sick to the back teeth of this show now...everyone fawning over Sugar and laughing at his "jokes". Karen Brady saying "Yes I'm a baroness but you can call me Karen" Hahahaha how f*cking magnanimous of you, you silly c*nt.
A 16 week wait for what basically amounts a job interview?!?!?! What kind of sh!te organization is this? Can you imagine this in any other environment? Going to the Benefits office saying that you are waiting for a callback and will require at least another 4 months of state handouts....b*ll*cks!!!!!
If these really are the biggest and the brightest then we're f*cked

Has anyone else seen all the stuff going on with Selina on Twitter?
She's broke all contact with the show and it looks like she might sue.

It will be, but she will have agreed to the filming and editing in her contract so I can't see her having much of a leg to stand on.

I'd say it's a straight fight between Joseph 'pimp-tache' and Vana 'looks like a Riddler from CITV' for this year.

Re: The Apprentice
I like the shaved headed straight talking geezer Brett "I've got a bizzarely doubled barreled surname for such a working class bloke". Loved it last week when he said in the boardroom "I sh!t you not.". May not have the patter of the flair but you f*cking well want something done, you know he'll try move Heaven and earth to get it done. Wanted him to punch that simpering little c*nt this week and shove the pressure washer hose down his throat

He's very much a forces guy, follows instructions to the letter but has no creative bones in his body.

Vana would surprise me. Not sure she actually does much.
Richard would be the one id bet on.

Re: The Apprentice
Pimp Tache seems to have his head screwed on, and a fair bit of common sense....so no doubt he will be fired next!
Brett seems like a jackass to me, bumbling all over his words trying to sound clever....he is a grafter, I give him that....but when he talks, I cringe.
Hope that muppet that didn't want to clean this week gets booted as well, moron!

Which makes him no better or smarter than Alan Sugar ...and he's done alright for himself. The drivel that Sugar comes out with would have people turning their backs on him in the pub if he was just a regular bloke but just because the Spudfaced chancer is a Lord, we're supposed to forget how ridiculous he sounds?

I completely agree - though Sugar has made his millions, and doesn't need to impress anyone. Brett hasn't achieved anything yet.

Re: The Apprentice
Every year I swear the women are just awful.
Richard or that Italian guy are the only 2 who stand I chance I would say.
Been a cracking series though, some sensational rubbish coming out of people's mouth.

Good call hero. I feel sorry for Corporate Gary though. He had the experience of leading 600 people and had the power of controlling a billion pounds of money in the palm of his hands

Re: The Apprentice
Can only see Vana winning. Lord Sugar won't be interested in small time plumbing, he's a risk taker & Vana's 'Gaming & dating app' business plan is far more relevant worldwide, in a ever expanding market & if successful, a significant money maker, compared to Joseph's, who's idea is not innovative at all.
Extremely poor business plans overall though, bordering on embarrassing.

Every time they do the interview round I wonder why they don't put it nearer the beginning of the show, since most of the ideas are so bad it doesn't really matter how they did in the challenges.LiamB wrote:Extremely poor business plans overall though, bordering on embarrassing.

Re: The Apprentice
Vana will win for the same reason that Irish bird did a few years back, he always goes for the more ambitious idea.
Joseph has a better plan though, Vanas in dreamland.

Re: The Apprentice
Probably don't want to interview a dozen people. You'd see nothing of each person, and you don't know the candidates for it to feel relevant. It's much better towards the end.Lowlandbrit wrote:Every time they do the interview round I wonder why they don't put it nearer the beginning of the show, since most of the ideas are so bad it doesn't really matter how they did in the challenges.LiamB wrote:Extremely poor business plans overall though, bordering on embarrassing.

I get that, you just figure they would have found a way to weed out the no-hopers a bit more by now.Scottrf wrote:Probably don't want to interview a dozen people. You'd see nothing of each person, and you don't know the candidates for it to feel relevant. It's much better towards the end.

It's kind of like the X Factor though, the no hopers make good TV. It's entertainment, not supposed to be an efficient corporate process.Lowlandbrit wrote:I get that, you just figure they would have found a way to weed out the no-hopers a bit more by now.Scottrf wrote:Probably don't want to interview a dozen people. Felt Joseph had to win. Not a fan of Vanas idea regardless of whether she can afford it.
