Re: Ulster 2015/2016 Part 2
I know Munster fans were delighted wth Earls getting a central contract for 3 years keeping him at Munster, but looking back I don't think he should have got a central one.
For Center McCloskey and Marshall, are both ahead of him, Aki will be, and Olding and Ringrose should be in two years while he still has a year to run on his contract.
Maybe it is because he covers wing and centre, but still I think he should have been on a Munster contract not a central one.
Thinking on it I guess it was the IRFU helping Munster out as they hadn't paid off Munsters debt at the time and Munster couldn't have offered him a contact on their own.
Means now they have paid off the debt, they are still helping Munster with his wages for the next 3 years.

Think Earls will play on the wing in that time- he certainly is ahead of Bowe in the pecking order now. I think we lost Scholes for that reason.

Anyway, I'm going to lock this thread and start one called; Ulster; The Offseason.
Perhaps the summer of discontent?
