Bedford, why you feel like you have to defend cuthbert so much is beyond me. It's indefensible how poor he is. At least north scores

Risca,

Because he gets way more crap than North whose defence is as poor, before the Italy game last year Cuthbert had a better strike rate than North and yes North has scored two this year 1 he nearly ballsed up the other was down to utterly shocking Jock defence.

No one should be above criticism yet North seems to be

But Risca is right. North has played very well in this tournament and unsurprisingly you've been very quiet.

This is first time I have actually been able to comment during a game Mikey as have been lucky to be at the rest but if you bother to read back post match I have congratulated North on his much improved performances yet that doesn't get away from the fact that people like yourself conveniently pass over things like North getting skinned by Brown.

Oh come off it BF, I'm always the first to state that North needs to improve. What I will say though is that it is an irrefutable fact that he is much better than Cuthbert in both attack and defence - that's something you should get into your head.

England well on top in the lineouts, but for me Wales look to have the edge at scrum but are not getting the refereeing descisions at present. The biggest problem Wales have is when they get the ball they have no structure, Davies is constantly having to look to see who he can pass to, I expect a kick up the backside from Gatland at half time.

Yup, Wales clearly on top at the scrum, that Scarlets front row will be fearsome if they make the Pro 12 playoff.

One half means dick all. Wales rarely seem to play well (or badly) for 80 mins so I'm expected them to come out guns a blazing' in the second half. 16 points might be enough but one quick try and it's only 9 points.

Well a very good first half by England. and a very disapointing first half by Wales.

What was being said during the week? it will be a battle of the 8s. Is Toby even on the field? not seen much of him in the first half.

Lets hope the England can keep the score board ticking over.

Come England more of the same please.

We've been unbeaten playing three poor teams this tournament and now we've come up against a good team, you can see the failings in our team. We either have an attack based on a biggar up and under or a individual piece of skill by someone but they don't string together any phases with the backs. Where is rob howlers evolution of our back play?!?

I think that Faletau has played very well myself, he has kept Vunipola in check somewhat and that's no mean feat.

Wales have been poor all 6N now it is really showing, clueless in attack and line out a shambles shame we can't sub some of the coaches. Cuthbert is rightly being targetted. Wales have nothing to lose bring on Webb as Davies is giving a poor service to Biggar hence the back line can't perform.

Well played England and put Wales under so much pressure.

The imprecision in the Welsh handling in the first half was unreal. How many passed were there that were low or behind the man? Took the steam out of the few attacking chances we had. Symptomatic of the whole performance.

England simply have to keep this up, as wales should come out absolutely blasting.

On a different subject, Jack Nowell looks like hes just getting more and more comfortable in that role, as does Watson on the other wing.

We have two crackers there. Both in attack and defence.

That's how I feel to be honest, Wales were losing yes, and playing badly, but were always rubbish in the first half. If England try and defend that 16 points Wales can still win. England have to keep going the way they are and score a try to kill the game off early in the second half. If they start taking it easy and beckoning Wales onto them Wales will do damage very quickly.

I cannot remember the last time i seen Wales play so poorly i8n the First half. They usualy get some points on the board. but they have ( NONE) .

So i disagree with you the first half does mean some thing. thumbsup

Yes he has done ok considering.

Madge's knowledge already shown up if he thinks we could've won the triple crown mind. Unsurprisingly, he didn't respond about that.
