Not much in that. Sexton is such a primadonna. You wouldn't see ROG behaving like that.

I'm sorry, but sexton has lost a lot of respect for me. Yeah complain to the ref for that, but don't then hold your head after you have finished complaining

Sore one for Scotland given Sexton was in the wrong in the first place!
Could debate whether it was s yellow but it was needless from Dunbar.
Game over.

Was sexton playing for that? Screams at the ref then goes down like he's been knocked out? That's not rugby at all.
Wel no matter, it was dumb and deserved the yellow card anyway.

Ironic thing is that sexton should have been pinged for killing the ball. Silly play by Dunbar

Laidlaw is a terrible captain. He cannot manage a relationship with the referee. He costs you points and ultimately games with his lack of leadership

Would like to see the incident again - looked bad from Sexton on first glance feigning injury.

Sexton got kneed strongly in the head by one of his own players before he was judo thrown onto his arse. That's why he held his head when pain kicked in.

Yep. At least Biggar just complained to the ref about it (when he was actually a victim of foul play) rather then feign an injury.

What Sexton did with landing on his elbow, sitting up to complain and rolling back clutching his head is for me typical of the kind of gamesmanship he display regularly, a talented player that will end up been remembered for the wrong reasons.

Has to be another yellow, Irish have been blatantly lying all over the ball for a while now. It's not even one of those situations where the player's trapped there and can't move.

Glad we got that try.
Been a very feisty game - don't often get that between Scotland and Ireland.
Shows how frustrated Scotland have been.

Quite right, people rightly called Hogg out for some of his behaviour on the field in the past. Why should Sexton be treated differently?

Indeed. As I posted earlier, I think there was a reason he held his head from an earlier knee from one of his own players.

Re: 6N 2016 : Super Saturday Game 2 Ireland vs Scotland Dublin 17h00 KO
Scotland only have themselves to blame. The referee was pedantic but far from outrightly bad. You need a captain that can talk to the referee. You need players with brains who know that when a referee tells you to stop doing something at the breakdown you stop doing it. One of the dumbest performances from any international team I've seen in a while.

Congrats Ireland, you were the better side and deserved the win. Nice bit of spice to end our respective campaigns on too. Same time next year?
Glad Scotland managed to work the ref out in the end, but it definitely took a lot longer than it should've

Just odd he could scream at the ref with his arms out first though. Looked poor.
