Exactly. Sometimes just pushing it too far. With farrell that's hardly a new thing. It'll make it a touch easier if we get this bang on obviously.

Re: Marler Banned
Not Marler specifically, but I always think bans should have a minimum entry point which can then be extended for aggrevating factors.
E.g. kick to the head
3 week entry point for offence (automatically assumed as reckless, pleading guilty and showing contrition is also assumed) (with head being a protected area, 3 weeks seems sufficient)
x2 to 10 if deliberate, unprovoked, prone opponent, serious offence etc
+50% if you don't plead guilty/show contrition
So 3 weeks if your wreckless and say sorry.
6 weeks for Marler
Up to 30 weeks if you kick someone who was trapped at the bottom of a ruck
That can be extended to 45 weeks if you don't plead guilty and show contrition
I would then include a multiplier if you have a previous ban in the last 12 months. So for Marler, he would get a x2 (12 weeks). I'd then reset the 12 month period to be from his return date. So, if he was cleared to play from 1 September at the start of next season, and then got banned within a year of that date, his multiplier would increase to x3 and his period would reset again.
More clarity, scope to increase for more serious offences, scope to increase if no contrition shown and an automatic increase for repeat offenders.

Yeah...Jones is happy. He has spent so long in the wind tunnel with Marler, and now his experimentation is starting to pay dividends....

Got you.
No, just trying to contemporise the discussion. And you do know what a 'diatribe' is don't you? Actually, no, clearly you don't.
I didn't post anything about Liam Williams in the first place, that was Cyril, nothing to do with being anti-Wales on my part.

Apologies, auto correct changed sh*te to diatribe
So, keeping things contempary then, Sanjay HAS also 'calmed the f**k down' and several England players are still nasty petulant school bully types.

Maybe he needs to get that fire back? You've lost Phillips throwing his weight around, don't overly have any nbasty characters in the pack. Maybe it's what is allowing Wales to slip away a little?

I think its starting slow and poor execution that haven't helped more than anything else.

Possibly true, you can only play to your ability even if you bring more edge.

We really weren't far off a tidy comeback victory at Twickenham this year despite slipping mind

Marler tries to quietly slip out the back door now that he's finally got the chat twisted into an England V Wales debate..............
Where are you going Marler??? Get Back Here! We ain't done with you yet, boy!

In rugby, that's called having a bit of dog, or aggression if you will. It's served SA very well for several generations.

You did very well in the last 2 games to come back into it. England being far too sloppy and as earlier stated it was ill discipline being picked up which allowed it. Fine lines.
