Scott Williams fit for game against Dragons?
Wales centre Scott Williams will undergo a fitness test on Thursday with Scarlets hopeful he will be fit to return for Saturday's Pro12 derby against Newport Gwent Dragons.
The 2012 Grand Slam winner, 25, has not played for Scarlets this season after he injured a knee in Wales' World Cup pool win over England last September.
But head coach Wayne Pivac says there is "a very strong likelihood" that Williams will feature in Cardiff.
"He's training very well," said Pivac.
"He's just got one more test to go through on Thursday [and if he] passes that he will be involved in the 23.
"He's a class player [but] he's obviously going to be a little bit rusty.
"Certainly we would love to get him out there in some capacity."

Are you a dragons fan then? Pivac has said, not surprisingly, Scott is going to be rusty. Seeing as it is must win game, and Hadleigh, Reggie and Gareth Owen haven't don't anything to warrant dropping them, it would be too risky to throw him in from the off. About 50-70 mins bring him on depending on the score

Is there any chance a thread could be set up for general Welsh Rugby news, similar to what the Irish and Scots have?
We have numerous threads today about fairly insignificant events, all with a similar theme of being started based on what someone has written, done or said

BamBam, we have a thread for each region. But to be honest people will always bypass them and just post news straight from tinterweb anyhow

Reggie has been a fantastic player but he is so slow now that he is a liability and Gareth Owen is being moved around from position to position but his just defence is not good enough for centre. Unless the Scarlets play a whole lot better than they have the last two games, they will get another thumping and say good by to any chance of Europe next season.

Good to see you being positive
Reggie is old and slowing, but still has been with the team training all season, knows Parkes and DTH etc. I'm not too sure if Scott has ever played alongside Parkes in the centre, or Dan Jones at fly half. And he certainly has never played with DTH or Collins. So it's like throwing a total newbie, with potential, in. He may be good but his timings and reading of team mate will be off.

The fact is that the Scarlets have been shocking in their last two games and the side clearly needs freshening up. No matter how stale Scott may be he can't be any worse than the players who have started?
