Agreed, althought I doubt he's been been shirty with Jurgen specifically, but I reckon his care-free attitude is at odds with what Klopp is currently trying to instill into his squad.Fernando wrote:DAVE667 wrote:Would suggest given the way he's been f*cked over by the drug testers, he's entitled to be a little bit shirtyFernando wrote:mamadou sakho sent home from usa due to bad attitude.

Yeah he's injured at the moment, imagine he's probably just been messing about and distracting the squad.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Maybe Klopp could have asked him to rein it in a bit but stick around as I think he has the kind of personality that is generally good for team morale. He seems passionate about the club and despite his occasional Bambi on Ice impressions, I've really warmed to him. Think he and Lovren have built a good relationship and hopefully Matip slots in nicely too.Crimey wrote:DAVE667 wrote:Agreed, althought I doubt he's been been shirty with Jurgen specifically, but I reckon his care-free attitude is at odds with what Klopp is currently trying to instill into his squad.Fernando wrote:DAVE667 wrote:Would suggest given the way he's been f*cked over by the drug testers, he's entitled to be a little bit shirtyFernando wrote:mamadou sakho sent home from usa due to bad attitude.

Clubs will be allowed to use a fourth substitute during extra time in the latter stages of this season's FA Cup, the Football Association has confirmed.

Think that's a good rule and should be implementing everywhere. Playing an extra half an hour, but not allowing an extra sub seems a bit silly. It'll help with the fitness of players whilst also adding an interesting tactical element.

I think it will ultimately be used primarily for specialist penalty takers.

Happy with it, really. It was gonna be something like the Mahindra stadium, but its all about money for me so I don't care what company sponsors it. Most of it goes to the government anyway. Not like I'm gonna be sitting there saying "wanna go to the Tesco?" In fact, I'd imagine it will be renamed so many times over the years that it won't matter at all.

Not really, I'm currently extremely p***ed off about the club's treatment of legend Tony Carr, but no one has asked me about that!
I just don't care about the name. Mahindra still have exclusive rights for about 3 more days, Heineken are likely to re-enter bidding too. Its gonna be a corporate bowl, I very much doubt i'd like the name unless it was the Bobby Moore Fund stadium, and i'd rather they spent the apparent £6m a year on something better, especially as £5m goes to the Conservatives.

How DO you feel about the treatment of Tony Carr.....bearing in mind he got seven times the payout the BHS employees are gettingDolphin Ziggler wrote:MIG wrote:You will literally defend anything West Ham related no matter how ridiculous won't you.

The money is no issue to me or to him. He's made good money, which the club has happily told everyone about in a very classy and dignified way...
There's a total lack of respect and the fact that they are letting that b**** Brady bring her friends into positions of power. The club have chucked away a man who has been there for 50 years, made the club millions, been chewed up and spat out, and then they've tried to drag his name through the mud afterwards.
There's some decency in our owners, but they can also be classless pr***s. Lady Brady being one of my least favourite people in the world.

I'm just amazed no-one's tried to contact a certain Steve Harris.
The Iron Maiden Arena has a certain ring to it.
Meanwhile, on an entirely different subject, I'm a little puzzled as to why we've gone and signed Brad Guzan from Villa, when we only signed Valdes from Man Utd only a few weeks ago. Does this mean we're letting both Mejias and Konstantopoulos go?

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
After what seems like forever of insisting he's best as a centre forward, Theo Walcott has now come out and said his best position is as a right winger and he's looking forward to playing back there.
Maybe his plan is to spend his entire career claiming he's playing in the wrong position so that he always has an excuse.

I Imagine at this point he's just hoping he's not going to be replaced and sat on the bench

I, for one, am deeply hurt!
We spent 11 years in the PL from 1998 to 2009. Our chairman has seen us go through a number of financial crises and now that we are on relatively a stable footing, he won't risk that kind of thing again. Aitor Karanka's signings have also, by and large, had a positive impact.
While I agree signing 2 keepers does seem odd, he must have a plan for them, otherwise I doubt they'd have signed. I'm guessing this means we are letting both Konstantopoulos and Mejias go. Will be sad to see Dimi go, if that's the case.

Assuming this is the Barca game you're referencing? Good performance, wouldn't be surprised to see a few more of these throughout the season against the bigger sides. It's turning over the smaller sides who are happy to sit back that Liverpool have had a problem with since Benitez.
