Does get a tad repetitive hearing how all the other home nations have fantastic team spirit.

NI have pretty much put out like 7 defenders? Intentions fairly clear...

0-0 HT.

Poland should be ahead, but are content to do an England, while Northern Ireland are doing their best Greek impression.

Poland ease to a deserved 1-0 win over Northern Ireland. Gotta be able to hurt teams when you come to tournaments, can't expect to park the bus and go far.

Simple win for Poland. Northern Ireland will have to go for it against Ukraine if they want to have any hope of progress.

Not really sure about Gotze. Systems set up to fit him and he's been meh up to now. Gomez would require a few tweaks

Problem I have with that is how many incisive passes have they actually played. Must've been about 400 5 yard passes around the penalty area tonight.

So many close games (by scoreline) in these Championships so far.

Can't remember too many if I'm honest. Feels like the entire second half has been Germany playing 5 yard passes for about 5 minutes before Kroos/Khedira shoot from distance or Ozil/Gotze overplay it.

That cost four people £25,000 each on Sky's Super 6.

Ouch.

Mind you, 19 folk have got a little over £5,000 each because of that goal.

Weel, woke up this morning feeling nervous, excited about our game this evening.

Sadly can see us losing all 3 again just like 2012, but playing better.

Had a dececent qualifiation, beating Germany along the way.
Anything's possible.

I'll go for a draw, 1-1/2-2.

Stade de France will be a sea of green.
The fans will be in full voice.

Not sure about being favourites.

Probably, despite Ibrahimovic, this is our best chance of a win.

Need to have something going into Belgium game on Saturday.

Brother text me last night saying the boys have a spare ticket.
Was tempted to go over, but they are back tomorrow for a few days.

To be honest, I'd rather back the side with a clinical striker, than just the side with slightly better all-round quality over the park. As we've seen in the past, someone like Zlatan needs one chance, whereas do I think players like Walters, Hendrick or even Long, can deliver when it matters. Two pretty average sides, usually separated by one moment of class.
