Well the French have never liked us, have they? Think Russia deserve to be expelled on the evidence from that match alone.

I'm more concerned with the threat of us being expelled from the tournament if there is any further trouble.

Our fans may not be highly trained or "hyper-violent" but they do like getting lagered-up, noisy and generally anti-social. Ale Hug vomit boxing

The French police have history of heavy handed treatment of English football fans so it's hardly surprising.

Find it odd that we get threatened with expulsion as well as the Russians when their behaviour is off the charts.

If Russia finish 3rd in the group, there's a decent chance of them playing Germany in the last 16.

I suppose we'd better hope Wales and Slovakia beat them.

In fairness Walters is a hard worker and decent enough on his day.
Long is a good player and has had a good season with Saints and done well in qualification.

Anyway with Glenn Whelan in the middle, we have nothing to worry about. Whistle

It seems to be Cech vs Spain at the moment. Not surely if being lucky or solid Czech Republic Laugh Either way Morata looks at clinical as Giroud.

Morata is not top class, hence why Madrid will sell this summer. Spain don't evolve, same old story of nice passing & no incision. Also, lacking serious pace in that side.

Probably would have started Wes on the bench, brought him on.
Would have liked to see McLean Or McGeady start, run at the Swedish defence.

Goal had been coming; been much like the England game the other night to be honest. Ireland not clinical...score and then get deeper and deeper. It's a reason why I never feel bad when the inevitable happens and an equaliser comes. Can understand if they are playing one of the favourites but they were head and shoulders above Sweden and should have tried to kill game off.

Been a decent game though. Still no team really standing out thus far.

in a tough group that will feel like two points lost for Ireland

brady mom for me, thought zlatan was fairly poor even if he did cause the equalizer

whether ireland ran out of steam or just stopped playing after they went ahead but they definitely changed. cant see sweden getting much out of italy or belgium

look like a great team on paper but whenever ive seen them they dont seem to mix well as a team. the likes of bentekes, lukakus and felliani would do well in a style to fit their physical nature where as hazard, mertens, de bruyne etc wouldnt. they dont seem to get the mix right

Belgium have the best front 3 in this tournament. But if they play Germany or Spain I can't see them having a kick of the ball with that midfield.

Expect them to beat a fairly poor Italy side though. Think they'll really struggle for goals.
