Have to make it count though. Don't altogether trust the defence so goals are needed...anyway need the three points today.

Wales should be confident of defeating Russia, so a point here will be great for them.

We're still bang average, it's basically throw all our offensive options on & hope it works. There is no real plan.

Oh good, Savage has shut up at long last!

Wales paid the price for being too negative, and underrating themselves. England just battered their way through without playing particularly well.

England will qualify if they avoid losing, win the group if they win.

Wales would actually be 3rd if they draw and Slovakia win.

Well done Sturridge clap

And well done Roy with the substitutions this time.

England deserved the win - Wales didn't really do much but defend. But I reckon they'll get what they need against Russia and go through anyway.

Now it would be nice to see England put two halves together against Slovakia...

Roy still has work to do. Didn't really work much better in the 2nd half but they took their chances this time. Think Sturridge up front next game.

Paper over the cracks. Win is a win and I am glad to see us go on as its great for the youngsters whose confidence will rise. Yet let's be frank, Roy went for it because we were so poor and behind...after Russia he knew anything but brave subs would create huge criticism from media. I hate that the media and pundits will drool over Roy now without being honest that he had no options but to go for it. He didn't show intelligence...that would have been dropping out of form players in the first place.

Now is the real test for Roy, has he the balls to play the likes of Vardy etc from the off and leave the dross on the bench (that includes Rooney who was still crud in the 2nd half).

Negative? Why...because we don't kid ourselves over a over rated team?

I don't get excited by our national team just because we scrape past a defensive Wales and hold an extremely poor Wales...just like I wouldn't enjoy a rarw fillet steak over a medium rare just because someone gave it to me for free
