I've never really discovered or been let into the inner circle but I can give you my cultural highlight which is still the expression/anecdote "eating chips off her back".

For the sake of f**k what on earth is wrong with people.

Currentl finding food shopping a trying experience. List of annoying things whilst food shopping:

1. It is a convenience store you cn*t. If you want 6 bags of items f off to the ASDA
2. Ring the need assistance bell when the queue is 3 deep, not when it is queue'd round the corner and the lazy feckers out the back have justnlit up.
3. Don't use the self service tills if you have got a fecking trolley.

Use amazon Sean. Makes life easier and you don't have to deal with people.

All your points are valid sean, also, why does it come as a surprise that you will have to pay for said goods, and when a price is given, have to root around at the bottom of an epically big handbag, for the purse that is ensconced right at the very bottom for half an hour, before gaining clarification once again on the price.

Most people are surprised when they are required to help you remove your nob from the coin slot.

I do wish someone would show the over 60's how to obtain their balances any other way barring putting all their various cards into the ATM and requesting a printed balance for each.

4. If you pick an item up, then decide you don't want it, put it back where you found it. Not in amongst similar items that are on offer where I can pick it up, take it to the till, scan it, then wonder why it's twice the price of what was advertised.
5. Tw*ts who don't check items properly.

I hate getting asked if I want a hand with my packing when I only have 3 items.

I hate it when I'm the only person who gets asked if they want cash back.

I hate it when some cubs or brownies wait at the end of the checkout expecting you to give them some money for packing your shopping in a way that you don't like it.

And then start to cry when you tell them to go F**k themselves and no matter how much money they raise, people will still die, and Father Christmas is not real anyway.

I hate it when you leave a big cloud of gut-rot in one of the aisles and no-one reacts.

I hate it when you smash a trolley into an old lady walking around on her zimmer frame a crowd gathers around her thereby preventing access to the shelf she was blocking in the first place.

The play I went to the other day (see previous posts) was one with 3 actors in a warehouse shot in the round with no real set, and it was very good!

It's an evening with the author Jon Ronson based around his book The Psychopath Test. He did say who was speaking but said it was better to not google them, so I have not done. Beyond that I don't really know what to expect. I have read the book though and enjoyed it a lot.

Sounds pretty cultured mate, you really are on a drive to get this place back on the map again.

Theatre is so gay. Whatever happened to sitting on the sofa with an 18 pack watching band of brothers?

Watching charlatans other week pretty good. Basically played tellin stories album. He still so fecking cool. Night scarred by my brother and mate being blind drunk. Was quite amusing watching the reactions of London commuters as they were throwing upon escalators / tube carriages.
