Monster Energy Statement on Ongoing Investigation Empty Monster Energy Statement on Ongoing Investigation

The management of 6CW, through Monster Energy, would like to continue its open dialogue with the fans of 6CW and those with an interest in this industry and the company itself.

Scenes at the end of Anarchy last week caught us unaware. This is an alien situation to all of us here, from top to bottom, and we are working to make sure it is managed as calmly as possible. However, last week we were left exposed by what we felt were aggressive and incendiary tactics by the police. For their part, they have expressed concern at how we reacted to the situation, in what they felt was a combative reaction to their enquiries.

Both parties have spoken further on how they can work together with more communication to ensure the investigation into Hero's death can be progressed both sensitively and with the speed of action required.

We have stressed to the authorities that we are determined to protect the innocence and livelihoods of our wrestlers, and that was our only concern last week. We understand that members of our roster will be asked to speak with the police, possibly on numerous occasions, as the investigation continues.

In an effort to be as transparent as possible with our fans, we can reveal that multiple members of the roster were interviewed by the police in relation to the suspicious death of Hero. It is their right to remain anonymous publicly in those discussions, and one we will uphold.

In many respects these are trying times for the staff of 6CW at this time. We have a show to continue, one we believe has been delivering on unprecedented levels since the involvement of Monster Energy, but we are also aware that there is grief and sadness amongst performers and fans at the untimely death of one of the industry's greatest names. We will be holding our own tribute to Hero in due course, but will do so when we are more aware of the details surrounding his passing. His glory was great and clear, and as such we feel that to rush a tribute would be unnecessary; we wish to savour the memory not rush the memorial.

Thank you
