What an embarrassment being Mayor of London for 8 years.
Doesnt stop him being any less of an embarrassment.
It does when he did a good job, he probably uses words a bit too big for you to understand.

Indeed, London is now a more congested, more polluted city with a cablecar that can't be used, watercannos bought that are illegal, and a dead-in-the-water airport scheme that was a total waste of money.
As FS, Boris has been a disaster, offending dignitaries from other countries and generally being kept under wraps by May, for fear of yet more humiliation.
He's toast.

London just felt altogether a bit safer with Johnson as Mayor compared to now.

He's basically Mr Bean, except underneath his stupid, bumbling persona is a nasty liar. Nobody should respect him as a serious politician.
I've always viewed him as a marginally less cuddly Paddington Bear.

It's more congested because more and more people want to live here and watch what you say about our cable car, loads of people use it, they just tend to be tourists and not commuters.

The problem I think is that because he comes across as stupid, he's then viewed as harmless, but he's not. Has a horrible track record of lying, not just to the electorate, but to bosses, his wife, his colleagues, his friends. Pretty all round horrible person.

It's more congested because the influx of population (not down to Boris of course, don't be daft) was poorly managed. He spent a ton of money on new buses that were no better than the old ones.

Say what you want, but you're not debating. "YEAH BUT CORBYN" is not a counter-argument. Name-calling isn't either.
But keep making yourself look daft, if that's what you want.

Exactly. People are so short-sighted if they can't see why removing human rights protections put in place could cause serious issues for people in the future. The definition of "extremist" can change and whilst you and I aren't defined as such in the future, history has shown that it's possible for views we now consider acceptable to be categorised as such and giving the government the power to silence is not something I am personally happy with. Checks and balances are a good thing and ensuring nobody has too much power is generally safer for everybody. It was one of the parts of the EU I was most in support of, is that it provided another layer of checks and balances to avoid corruptions of power.
I am also against torture and execution and as the major protection of human rights laws has so far been at deporting suspected terrorists to countries where these practices are carried out, I would rather we use more civilised forms of justice.

Having some people be exempt from having human rights goes against the very principle of human rights and has the potential to cause major problems in the future. The definition of terrorist can change and history has shown that often the "terrorists" are on the right side of history. It's not that black and white at all. Starting to put in exemptions to human rights laws and freedoms is creating the potential for restricting real free speech.

The Terrorism Act is already doing that, and exemptions from human rights isn't what we are talking about. This is specifically about widening the power to restrict access to the country, which other countries are already doing.
If you think they might be on the right side of history you should be on the watch list to be honest.

I find it quite disturbing that you're supportive of protecting the rights of people who have and will continue to terrorise this country, killing innocent people in the process. It is their human rights that will be changed not those of law abiding citizens.

There should also be concerns for: Human rights being "removed" from people who there isn't legitimate proof of terrorist activities (or the planning thereof). They are then innocent.
Mostly, she should be chastised for how empty a comment it is. Does it actually mean anything? Or is it an unquantifiable promise for a soundbite? It feels to me like they've made a lot of unquantified statements

It's rhetoric yes. What matters is what actual policies and legislation (more likely amendments) come out of it.
