i will write tactics when the Miky/Olly thing is resolved cos if he's getting 3pts and others aren't then complaining shall commence due to clear bias happening. Either do all or none. Revert them to draws or something

I think making those games draws could be an idea
cab I get a draw for my playing a whole game with 10 men too

I think it should just be ignored tbh and carry on as we are. If you want to punish him, then how about he loses 1 vote for every 50 words over
Ie, if he wrote 250 words and won 3-0 on votes unanimously, he goes down to a 2-1 split win. 300 words and he loses 1-2

it's getting sillly what's done is done...but a precedent has been set going forward, not a fan of historical punishments

Re: Challenge League Homepage III
It's entirely up to Miky, and I'll back whatever he decides.
For my two pennies worth, I don't think you can punish as nothing has been set as the penalty for going over.
We (Miky) need to decide what a fair penalty would be (or penalties if we want to separate going a little over and massively over), add it to the rules and then apply it going forward, not retrospectively.
We also need to be more specific on what is included in the word count as Hero said.
My suggestion is going over by up to 20 words (i.e. 10%), you don't get the tactics bonus, going over by more than 20 is a default loss.

I certainly agree with the latter points you've said Afro, not as sure in regards to retrospective punishment for failure to have a rule for it, perhaps there should have clearer specifics as to what happens in the event but having clear rules for every eventuality is hard to do. Just because one isn't there doesn't mean that what went before is dismissed. What if we got someone with a duplicate account who then traded all their players to one team to make a really strong one (just happened in the rugby game which Bam can attest to and seem to recall it's happened here a few years ago), there's many things that shouldn't happen, we don't have rules for, but somehow come to the fore and we have to discuss them and work a way forward.

I agree with what you say 100%. I was thinking more specifically in this instance about not applying it retrospectively as it feels like a smaller misdemeanour. I think you have already said you don't want your result against him reversed, and neither do I.

The multi-accounting is back!?!!
Still remember when that was a plague on the old 606.

Re: Challenge League Homepage III
Not on here but in the rugby game there was a new account that took over a team and then started trading players back and forth with one person in particular who then turned out to be from the same IP address.

Yeah, and it was someone who had been taking part in the game for 7 years with plenty of success, was already one of the top 2/3 sides so didn't even need to cheat

As I've stated many times, I flouted the rule, I should be punished for whenever I did that imo.
Creating a duplicate account is a whole other level of weirdness...it's only an online game lads. Bloody rugby nonces

Re: Challenge League Homepage III
Ok so here goes...
I'm going to let it slide for now, mainly because up until this week with Olly's being so high over the limit the rest have been only slightly over i would assume. I'm going to give a blanket decision and say that Olly will win the game against me, sorry Afro i know you have updated the table already and this will mean a change and i do appreciate it.
Going forward, i will be counting the tactics using https://wordcounter.net/ - Everyone should use this as a guide for writing weekly tactics going forward. You can access the site on mobile as well if thats how you write yours. As for the word limit, we will review it at the end of the season but it will definitely be upped and you can quote me on that however, don't expect a massive increase, maybe 100-200 words at a maximum.
For clarification on how tactics will be counted, this is an example of how i count mine and have done since the start:
Injuries: Daniele Rugani, Fernandinho, Florian Thauvin
---------------------Fahrmann-----------------------
---------Meunier---Christensen--Vertonghen------
Zappacosta------Anguissa--Tolisso------------Gaya
Robben--------------Immobile----------Albrighton
Subs: Berisha, Layun, Chalobah, Davis, Coric, Martinez, Llorente
That is how i usually set up my start to tactics and i do NOT count any of that in the overall word count however i do count the following.
Attacking
Gaya and Zappacosta to provide the width with Albrighton and Robben pushing in centrally pressuring the CB's
Tolisso pulling the strings from deep driving forward with the play working the ball into dangerous areas
Immobile to be pushing onto the last defender powering into the box for the service coming from behind
Albrighton and Robben to cut inside and look to threaten with passes or shots on goal
Defending
Gaya and Zappacosta to put a shift in on the flank, pushing back into a back 5 when we lose possesion
Meuinier to tuck in with Vertonghen to support Christensen centrally
Anguissa to drop deep just in front of the back line where he can screen the opposition out of the game
Tolisso to drop deeper when we lose the ball as the outlet to be able to pick the play up and turn defence into attack
80th - Martinez on for Albrighton
85th - Llorente on for Immobile to keep piling on the powerful threat in the area
Please take this on board when writing tactics in future.

Thanks for the clarification Miky. What are the penalties for going over, so we add to the rules page.
I'll update table and homepage shortly. Not a big job to update now as made it more automatic this morning

Cheers for clarifying.
I've done my tactics. They are exactly 200 words, as usual.
