Re: Challenge League Homepage IV
Now I'm back in the office I've done a proper look at the profits on my team.
My original team was worth £207.9m, if I'd done nothing at all with that squad it'd now be worth 221.4m, a £13.5m rise.
My current team is worth 444.69m, a £236.79m rise.
Youth team wise they were worth 5.31m at the point of purchase, now they're worth 19.44m.

Yeah Squad Battles does sh*t like that they also score when they want.
What's your side again now?
Also you vs Tino is the Poopie game ive ever had to predict ever. It's like neither of you wanted to win Reminded me of the 0-0 Wolves/Birmingham FA cup game that was on ITV a few years back i think was 3 shots in 90 mins all off target

My daughter has no resale value as women's football isn't really valued the same, only £250k for her, but I'd want £1m for the boy.

My son I'll match Hero's offer of £1.5m.
My daughter, I'll give you £1.2m to take her......
(and you'll be offering me more to take her back!)

Miky, I can help if you're busy
I'm not on over the weekend so wouldn't be able to post up tactics, but I'm more than happy to collect results and post them up on a Tuesday morning
I'm waiting to be assigned to a new project so I have plenty of time at work at the moment

Likewise, I'm happy to help.
I can take in predictions, with the weekends being a bit dodgy I wouldn't want to be responsible with posting up the games

Re: Challenge League Homepage IV
Quick question, Mile Svilar was in my youth squad, now he's out on loan with Olly. After the loan, I presume he'd have to go back into the youth squad, would he need to "start again" in the youth squad for 3 months, or would it continue where he left off?

I have the same with Milinkovic-Savic junior. I have assumed it was pick up where he had left off i.e. he had been with me for 1 month, so needed to serve another 2 months before I can promote

Re: Challenge League Homepage IV
I dont think he can. In the rules doesn't it say if a player is promoted to the first team (or I suppose as a sub) that player can't go back to the youth set up.
So I would say when the loan finishes, whether it is half season or full season, he goes back into your main squad.
Afro and I have the same situation and I'm sure we discussed when his GK goes back to him at the end of the season, he isn't a youth anymore.
Edit....we must not have had the convo I thought Afro!

Re: Challenge League Homepage IV
You are at no advantage loaning off youth players to do their time because you would have to wait full season compared to waiting 3 months.
Half season loans a bit murkier. In that case I would say the period of time still needs to be 3 months - so collectively between the loan period and however long he would need to be in the youth set up.
As long as it's a total of 3 months since being the league as a youth I'm sure it's fine

Re: Challenge League Homepage IV
It can't work that way Twist, otherwise there is a loophole on the youth rules, as you buy, loan out and buy another and you can have in theory infinite number of youth players.
The rules also state that they must serve 3 months before they can be promoted, so on that basis VMS wouldn't be able to play for you and Svilar wouldn't be able to play for Olly.
I think serving three months in total in the parent club youth set-in before being able to play for the parent club first team is a sensible approach.
Either that or you make it youth players can't be loaned out

Re: Challenge League Homepage IV
Olly loaned him to play a game because his main keeper was injured, and remain as cover for the season. Which is his choice.
But because I signed him as a youth TP, I can either sell him, or put him back in the youth squad for his 3 months, is how I see it. Only debate is whether the 3 months has to start over, or it carries on from how long he'd served before I loaned him out.

Re: Challenge League Homepage IV
my opinion
if you loan him out and he plays then that's not your doing so for me he'd still be a youth player.
regards time spent, I think it should carry on, if you sign him and loan him out for 3 months, I still see that as 3 months served
