I always knew it would end like that. It's a risk you take being an Aussie, if the snakes and spiders don't get you the sharks will.

Cheers, guys. the new place seems somewhat lacking in "top bantz (sic)"

So this place is a bit of a reprieve.

I'm not Queensland way, but there was a shark at a beach nearby in the last few days. Day I was at the beach, but not that one. It's a beach I've been to as well, but people still think I should go in the water. Starting to take it as a threat.

How is the new work environment... are you near a window?

Morning PJ, I do indeed have a window, overlooking a nice water feature in the city centre.

It is actually warm here, for the time of year, no doubt the papers will have a mega storm upon us soon.

Good stuff. On the window view and the warm weather.

Not the mega storm fear mongering bit though.

Huge hailstorm here on the mid north coast. Hail the size of tennis balls.
Some poor bloke's cauliflower crop was totally destroyed... but at least the kids and the dog are safe. Still had half a smile on his face.

I lived in Birmingham for a while in the late 90s and the standard was very impressive. It was particularly humiliating seeing them all flocking about at night in Broad Street while I was being carted off to a warehouse job in a grubby Pertemps van

I spent a good deal of time on Broad Street in the late 80s/early 90s, flocking about with the ladies and laughing at the working class.

IT really isn't, still, at least we don't have to back home an worry about taking someone's relatives away.

But Adobe can f**k off, especially when you think the etymology of Adobe can loosely be traced back to house made of s**t

DC once had a super villain who got his powers from cocaine (snow flame I think)

He must've cracked one off when off his bonce.

I bet in the edgy 90's there will be a marvel comic somewhere, whereby there is someone engaging in sperm murder.

Robin's lack of superhero tights lends itself to knocking one out at short notice, though I suspect that the design was more to get the Bathand in.

I've always wondered how many people died before they figured out a way to cook the Japanese blowfish. And why they kept on trying after the first few fatalities.

Excellent burgers and burritos. Not strictly mexican but they know how to cook. Only problem is that they take their time making it so order ahead or get a delivery if they do it.
