Do you get a veto like the UN security council then?

I take it you're following the discussions on the politics thread? A damn good read and thoroughly entertaining as well.

Although I find Duty and Julius's argument to be impressively worded, they steer clear of the important matters you find on the golf boards, like Prince Andrew's guilt and the size of Tiger Woods's c*ck.

Morning, has anyone got a synopsis of recent MSMTS activity?
Or should I just head to the politics thread to see how financial and DP reform is getting on?

Head to the politics thread for all your budget/fiscal needs. Head to the g*lf thread for nonce related stories or whatever else is on navytrainingpants clipboard and head to the boxing thread to see Beefcake's 800th iteration of any multitude of threads he posted over the last decade.

Well it would be perfectly in keeping with humanities rampant desire to destroy things.
Too deep for a Tuesday morning? Could talk about norks and Galted getting noshed off by a tramp if we want to raise the standard of discussion?

Active on here this morning.
I'm utterly shocked that Duty hasn't responded to me on the Politics thread when I asked him for specific financial services regulations that he'd like to get rid of. What do they teach kids in A-Level Law classes these days?

We're not still pretending he is a 'kid' are we? At least a decade older than he claims. Probably closer to our age.

Dunno about you but I was actively advised to stay away from A level Law as it starts you off with the wrong methodology. This is more like the accountants who did a tax law elective and think they can throw down in the moot hall.

Well I did turn 27 recently, so I wouldn't say I'm a 'kid'.

Good. A proper break with the EU. This is the exact stuff Johnson should have been doing.
Yeah, it's quite a big bone he's decided to chew on. He's probably still doing research into the remaining 2006 pieces of EU legislation that haven't either been amended, appealed, repealed or replaced.
I suspect it could take a lot of time to determine which ones should stay and which ones should go... and the reasons why. That's a huge task, isn't it?
Still, I eagerly await his response like you, Superfly.

I just get annoyed at people claiming that we need to get rid of regulations when they don't have the first clue about the actual content of those regulations and how little they impact upon an organisation's ability to make money.
At risk of getting too serious on here so will finish this post by shouting "BIG FANNIES".

Supes and I also asked Cuty which bits of GDPR he'd like to see reformed so he's probably also reading up on that as well, which can take a while if you're starting point is only knowing what the letters stand for.

Your queries went unanswered because I sensed, correctly it seems, that you weren't interested in the answer and only interested in taking the mick.
I extensively researched existing EU regulations/laws as part of a role I had with the Civil Service a few years ago, so I'm perfectly cognisant of what I'm talking about, even if I choose not to share it with you on this occasion.

German Democratic People's Republic?
Only kidding. We've just had a major telcom security breach here. Only 10 million people are affected.
Luckily I'm with the other lot but I think I'll go back to the 2-step authentication even though it's a bit annoying. Better to be protected though, right?
Just did a check before. Phone and 2 email accounts are OK. 2 other emails aren't. 2 and 5 hacks respectively for those ones which I don't use so much and have been around for more than 15 years or more.

Could I make a request for a magnum and Tino's support?
Would you go for a classic or mint?
I'd go for the 44(0ml). The sweet and salty almond remix tub.

Controversial michaelsing from Duty.
Superfly used his veto on membership (although going straight to the w*nking w*nk clause was a little excessive I thought) so does Doot's post class as a michaelsing or is Galted's strange 'stinging tongue' effort the culprit.
Exciting times for the Tea Society.

Sting was my response to your Marc Almond, thought it was a good stepping stone to an afternoon of puns but turns out it was more of a bananarama peel.

Don't talk to me about puns. 'The Mantel has passed' went completely unnoticed.
