Carl Frampton.
A lot of talk surrounding this prospect and with it hype. I have seen him fight and was impressed. He has great timing and looks strong. He has quick hands and can put together decent combinations BUT the kid is too small IMO to really become a superstar of boxing. When he meets a good fighter who is tall and has longer reach he will be found out. I know Barry Mcguigan is looking after him but he will need to be matched shrewdly.

Watched him over the weekend against a kid whose name alludes him (he had a funny haircut). Looks good, plenty of potential - but he got hit alot. He needs to tighten up his defence.

To early to tell...anybody can look good against chaff...
Looks quick and has good combinations but until he's tested nobody knows......
not sure mcguigan is the guy to bring him on.

Suspect a few on here are too young for such a reference. I am not though unfortunately and now plan to make at least one article next week that has either an album or song title shoehorned into it

Yeah, it was unapologetically for the oldies. Reminds me of something that always makes me chuckle..an old Sun headline of a woman who saw the face of Elvis Presley in her cake; "In The Gateau"

he isn't too small for a super bantamweight, Jason Booth's 5'4 and has been very good, Rendall Munroe 5'6. Frampton looks good to me, probably about right for him to be facing Booth next who is the British champ, i'd favour Frampton now, Booth was stopped by Martinez last time out.
