Q&A with Carl 'The Jackal' Frampton - Your questions please!
Afternoon guys
Through our @606v2boxing Twitter account I have managed to secure a Q&A session with hot prospect Carl 'The Jackal' Frampton. After the success of the Wayne McCullough Q&A, in which we were able to get the views of a fighter that has been there and done it with regard to big time boxing, I thought it'd be interesting to do something similar with a prospect making his way in the sport.
Feel free to post any questions you would like to ask Carl in the Q&A, and I will see if we can get them in.
Thanks

Jesus
Couldn't you have gone for someone like Oscar de la Hoya?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!
Question:
If Rigondeaux offered to fight you next (a la Groves vs Degale minus the obvious needle), would you take it at such an early stage of your career?

The Oscars of this world are a little harder to pin down, Coxy
Be good to get a Q&A with a prospect, be good publicity for him and it'll be interesting to see his thoughts at such an early stage in his career.
I like that question though, it would certainly be some step up!

Do you feel any pressure from the high hopes being pinned on you by your fellow countrymen, particularly given that Ireland hasn't had much recent success in the boxing ring?

That's a bit harsh, there's McGuigan, erm, Rogan, ummm, er, McCloskey, aaand, erm, Micky Ward, to name just four.

Is there any boxer, past or present, that you try to model yourself upon?

When are you gonna man up and take the test......
Oops wrong person!
When are you going to finally lace up and take Scott Quigg on? And how do you rate the current domestic scene in the UK?

Do you think olympic style testing should be used throughout boxing?

Money or legacy?
If I offered you the choice of £20million now to retire and be forgotten or to become a world champion, make several defences and become a modern great while earning substantially less which would you pick. Be honest.....

Does coming from the slums of Belfast (Tigers Bay) make you want to achieve a greater career in Boxing?
Did Barry ever wipe the brown stain off his nose from meeting you?

Shouldn't you just ask:
"Can i give you a really hard ramming because you're, like me, Northern Irish?"
Only playing big boy!

Not really a playful kind of thing to say Coxy.
I'm not gonna bother with you, you seem to be trying to bait me into a slanging match with you now that a few of your previous sparring partners have disappeared.
Nice try

I was honestly only having a play! I know text is 100% interpretational, but i thought the winkie winkie and the "only playing" part may have given it away!
Now come here and lets cuddle

What's your favourite film?
What hobbies do you have?
What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet and why?

If we at 606V2 offered you the ginger one from Girls Aloud on a plate, no strings attached, would you?

Choice:
Get bummed by John Barryman in a rough 2 minute session.
or
Spend a whole night under the duvet with Elton John JUST kissing and caressing.

Hopefully not Cox!
Rather difficult to get hold of the huge huge names Union, not that it'll stop me trying!
