Reminds me of the England 2007 World Cup squad, when the players took control cause the coaches didn't know what they were doing

Ska, just about to do your game and you've added in players bought past the cut off for this week. Let me know what you want to do instead.

Judging by the way they've been playing so far, they should have bloody stayed up there.

Re: FIFA Challenge League Homepage II
Just as a reminder, next week is the first round of the Hardcore cup.
Therefore:
1) it will use the no-rules game mode;
2) there will be no injuries drawn for anyone;
3) any cards incurred will not count towards suspension
4) I will not add the goals/assists to the top scorers/assists lists

Hero - who can add their £200k?
Trebs - where's the press conference?
I went to an ice cream restaurant at the weekend, never knew they existed. It was like an American diner but only for dessert, which was great, but I left feeling hungry due to the lack of meat on offer

They should swap the flake for a sausage and the chocolate sauce for some gravy.
Whilst they are at it, they might as well swap the ice-cream for mash potato too

Re: FIFA Challenge League Homepage II
It was brought up a few weeks ago that the current system of transfer confirmation is convoluted. I thought that an agreement had been made with regard to rule changes, but clearly I was mistaken - as my two signings have been deemed by the powers that be as ineligible for this week's game .
Can we come up with a simpler system? It's not like foreigns are a bidding war, so I would argue that we should get rid of the foreign transfers page and just put the transfer on the confirmation page.

Re: FIFA Challenge League Homepage II
It was proposed to change it for season 2.
I suggested we could do it straight away, but got no response, so it didn't change.
So I suggest that from now on, there is no need to post separately for foreigns, releases or lawyers. Just post everything on the Transfer Confirmation page in the first instance, making sure that you include the nature of the transfer on there.

I mean, how hard is it to cut and paste something from one page to another? This isn't 2005

In a rare development, I agree with the 6 fingered one
I can also almost guarantee that someone will not state what transfer type it is within the first week

Then it doesn't count, same as not confirming now. But why keep an unnecessary extra step?

Gents, we need a new Newport manager as Soddy has vanished.
£200k finders bonus for anyone who can find a new manager. The bonus will be paid when the new manager has submitted two weeks of tactics within deadline

Do we list the press conference as "Week 5" or "Cup Week 1"?
Cos it's week 5, but it's not gameweek 5. Could cause confusion.

Did someone say ludy was interested at the start Marky/Ska?
Suppose Marky does it matter depending on if you can answer the next one if you’re knocked out?

Well it was never agreed to actually do it, so its a risk to just do it on the Confirmation page

Right, I need to register complaints about an unfair system. I won’t be waiting till 9am your time again to confirm transfers as it’s had me robbed of Grady.

I was told not to do before 9am and today has illustrated why I shouldn't have listened. Now I'm laboured with an appalling team of minimal value and ability, a season at least behind people who understand all the practises involved, and I'm having players consistently stolen from me by people who have been able to engineer their own perfect deadline.

Re: FIFA Challenge League Homepage II
With the internet here and other things like waiting all day to do it, it’s another silly rule I’m against.
We’ve a bloody player lawyered for £990k this week. It’s actually made me want to sack it in. I already hadn’t brought Grady in cos building up a budget to get a point on the board was too difficult to be able to chuck away a player with 60 rating. He’s gonna make £1.2m this week. I’ve had to buy in players I think might be legally dead to use my budget whilst building my team and capability to get some quality later with money.

Tbf anyone could have purchased a 900k player in the draft and got a 990k lawyer
I just happen to have had one in my starting line up, Carlisle have also got a 990k lawyer this week

It makes sense that transfers open at the same time for everyone surely, but is there a better time that would suit Dolph and not be middle of the night for everyone else or anything?

It’s only a part of the grievance. I mainly wanted him cos he’s a West Ham boy, but I couldn’t afford to spend £200k on a player who is pretty Poopie by this games standard with the team I have. So I waited till Cup week where at least I could earn 600k in two weeks without a league game, but had to be polite. And it just takes the piss that he’s then brought in.
The lads will play an experimental two goalkeepers outfield and Barry Corr in goal system for the cup in protest

Dolph - would it be better to be earlier or later for you. Say we moved it an hour either way to 8am or 10am.
I'm all for 10am as it gives me a chance to do the lawyers without someone nicking my target whilst I do them
