Left a suggestion on the golf thread. BlueCoverman is asking about travel destinations quoting Cyprus and Turkey. Could be a military flash point. So I suggested Ladakh where India and China are having their latest border dispute. Failing that... why not Taiwan or even better - the Spratley Islands?

Perhaps a knifing holiday in London.

What's that name of that island in the Bay of Bengal where the local tribe routinely kills anyone that tries to land on the island? Tell him there's a pitch and putt course and that the locals are very welcoming.

Boxing board has been f***ed for a while, most of the quality users have gone, and even the banter between Truss and Dave is not there, just trolls, So. Many. Trolls

Cheers, rIck. Such a shame. It was so good with Windy at the front and the other regulars then.

It was, for a while, the best thing about these boards. It's been discussed a few times on the boxing board, but the board's demise echoes the demise of the sport itself. I used to watch at least 3 or 4 fights a week and now I can't even remember the last fight I watched live. Matchroom and Sky Sports chasing after the casual boxing fan at the expense of those with a genuine love for the sport have ruined boxing in this country.

It was the reason I came on here from the old 606 boxing boards.

I still watch a lot of boxing, but supes has a very valid point.

From next Tuesday I won't be able to visit other households again. Galtova will be disappointed.

How's it going Rick? Are the restrictions now back in full force?

Not in full force, peej, certainly not as restrictive as when this first kicked off, or indeed when Bradford went into special measures but hopefully enough to throttle things down.

It is like the weather knows when you are restricted, as it is particularly lovely here today.

How are you guys doing?

Going well thanks. Life is pretty much normal here and we've had very nice weather too.

It's steadily getting warmer though which is the signal for bugs and critters of all descriptions to congregate in large public gatherings and long marches en masse... unlike us humans. Think I saw an ant carrying a placard even... but it may have only been half a dried leaf.

I suspect that it was an ant carrying a placard stating death to all humans, as that seems to be the general idea for all the fauna, and some flora to be fair.

I think we are going to get a second wave, my good friend is in the NHS and they have had leave cancelled before Christmas in expectation of a second big wave.

I thought of you this morning Glated. I had sliced banana and blueberries with Greek yoghurt for breakfast. Seemed like the sort of thing you would have.

I normally have proper manly breakfasts like Shredded Wheat or Weetabix but changed it up today.
