The video begins and we see the figure of the Viper Liam Wood stood against a brick wall, moments after the latest edition of Proving Grounds went off air. Wood is still showing some of the signs of his night and the attacks from Daniel Reilly as he begins to speak directly to the camera.

Wood:
Drake Callihan, I have a question for you...

Wood pauses, an intense look on his face as he speaks to the man hell bent on destroying his career and former EWF owner Callihan

Wood:
Do you really want to see how far this thing is going to go?

I've been in this game a long time and I understand how things like this work...once you take a step, it's impossible to take it back and your only options are to keep stepping or walk away completely...so which is it?

Look, I'm not stupid...this is going to bad for everyone involved but unlike you, I know that I can deal with that and come out stronger at the end. Can you? I did against Dicey Reilly, I did against Keith Leone, I did against Vincent Costello and I will against your latest pawn, Daniel Reilly and whoever else you put against me after Daniel fails.

Wood smirks, a confidence building as he continues

Wood:
When you got Daniel to take away my chance at not only the European Championship but also the Road To Royalty you must have felt like you'd won something right? By taking away those chances from me you got a little bit of that revenge you've craved so badly but the sad truth for you is that as long as I can still climb in that ring...title shots and all those other accolades will still be waiting for me...there will be more titles around my waist and I'll achieve new things...all you did was slow my destiny down a little.

But by doing that though? You started a war

The confidence remains but the intensity builds as Wood is clearly angry at the events that have taken place since From The Ashes

Wood:
You started a war that can only lead to one place...a war that will escalate with each action and will put everyone involved in danger. Daniel took my spot from Road To Royalty, so I turned up and caused him to lose his, me just being there was enough for him to be so worried that he took his eyes of the prize and got tapped out.

And that's the man you bring to challenge me? A has-been who can't pick up a win, has to resort to cheap shots and was last seen high tailing it out of the arena because he knows the end result of actually going one on one with me.

Let him know, this is just the beginning because I am like Nicky Santoro from the movie Casino, you seen that one? Let me refresh your memory...

Wood begins to quote a line from the famous Gangster Movie

Wood:
“You beat Nicky with fists, he comes back with a bat. You beat him with a knife, he comes back with a gun. And if you beat him with a gun, you better kill him, because he'll keep comin' back and back until one of you is dead”

and that's what it's like to face me...remember when you had FEAR backing you up and each week you'd do everything you could to end my carer and no matter how many times you left me down, you left me broken and you left me thinking you'd finally beat me...I always came back and when all was said and done and it all came to an end...

...FEAR lost and I was the one left standing with the EWF title belt on my shoulder.

Wood's smirk returns, a determined look in his eyes.

Wood:
and spoiler alert, I know Nicky dies at the end of Casino just like my carer will come to an end one day but the question I have to ask you is...

...do you really think you'll be the one to end it? why do you think this time is going to be different? What has actually changed?

You're still a coward, you're still picking guys who are desperate so will side with anyone and Kelsey is still a wh0re. You're still the same Drake Callihan who failed and I'm still the guy who won't give up.

Like I said, this isn't going to end well for one of us.

Can you really say that you'll be the lucky one?

Wood nods to himself before walking off camera and the scene fades to black.

Uryu is seen leaning on a wall as the door swings open as he sees a frustrated Christy being escorted out by the bouncer. He spots Uryu and looks unimpressed as he closes the door.

UI: Who gets you for interviews?

Christy turns to him and sighs, walking over.

CJ: Robin Reborn, All he wanted to do was show off, Didnt really take much notice of me.

UI: Want me to have a word with my former tag partner?

Christy looks confused but then it clicks in her mind.

CJ: Oh he was Lion wasn't he? Last time you saw him was a hospital wasn't it?

UI: He came back a few weeks before 6CW closed down but refused to speak to me. I thought he still had a problem with what happened at Beachfront Brawl.

CJ: The injury?

UI: Yeah...I was obsessed with shutting Max up so much that in the tag title match he got injured because of me. Oh I apologised to him and I thought he understood.

Christy puts a hand on Uryu's shoulder.

CJ: Don't worry about it right now, I'll be alright. You just worry about your likely first challenger for the 6CW Title.

Uryu nods and looks at the camera, Christy heads to the BoD Offices.

UI: Eddy Kent, one of the few undefeated men left in 6CWF. So you are the first to have a go at me. You didn't have to jump me from behind at the ceremony, all you had to do was find me and challenge me. I would have happily agreed. Yet you are trying to make a statement I suppose, trying to say you were denied the opportunity. Maybe that this is your destiny or that I don't deserve to hold it, that you would be a better champion. Whatever reason you have, that anyone has here is irrelevant because once you scratch the surface all you do is say the exact same thing, this time to me.

Uryu clears his throat.

UI: "I think I am the best and you are not." Deep down thats what everyone thinks and says when they look at the champion. When you look at me theres that touch of arrogance, looking down and smirking. Sad to say that it's not the first time nor will it be the last that I hear it. I didn't earn my place here by just being lucky, nor by having help. I earned my place day in and day out by busting my arse in the ring. Anyone who has ever faced me has always had to readjust their opinion of my skills. Sure, they walk out confident and cocky thinking they have an easy time but twenty, thirty mnutes later and they realise they still have not beaten me? They start to understand how driven I am, How I refuse to quit and will keep on coming after them! After the match they are either staring at the lights, clutching their arm or seeing me slowly stagger up looking half dead and still wanting to fight! Now that is just me in general, you now have to factor in that I am a champion, not just any champion but the 6CW World Champion. You know how much harder the person is to beat when they are holding it and wanting to keep it. I'll let you rethink your opinion of me this week in the tag match, If you want to keep coming after me? Don't say I didn't warn you.

Uryu looks towards the door to Robin's interview area.

UI: Now if you will excuse me, I have some personal business to take care of.

Uryu knocks on the door and waits.

[The scene opens up to a buyoant Proving grounds returning from a commercial break starring Robin Reborn. The camera widens and shows a jam packed copper box arena, the tension palpable and fans eager to see their heroes. Suddenly, Succession reverberates from the speakers as the crowd descends into an emphatic wave of boos. Eddy Kent steps onto the stage, exuding an aura of undeniable confidence and ego. The audience rises to their feet unleashing a ferocious level of boos and abuse echoing throughout the arena. Kent is wearing a pair of casual black tracksuit bottoms, blue nike shoes and his offical 6CWF shirt with levels above in big red bold text etched onto the black shirt. Kent struts to the ring, a sadistic smile etched on his face as he holds his head high, ignoring the abuse. Kent strides through the ring ropes and steps into the middle of the ring where a microphone is waiting on the ring canvass. The camera zooms in on the egomanic Kent as he closes his eyes, revelling in the heat. Kent cricks his neck from side to side before opening his eyes and smiles broadly. Kent then picks up the microphone and raises it to his lips, ready to deliver a tirade]

Kent: Finally, the institution is going to claim what is rightfully his!

[The crowd erupts with boos as Kent chuckles evily before speaking once more]

Kent: For too long, the 6CW championship has eluded me, slipping through my grasp, mocking me. Week after week, year after year, mocking me, taunting me just like every single one of you who has ever doubted me. But no more! No more will I be denied what is rightfully mine. Tonight, I stand before you, ready to cement my claim to the most coveted prize in this industry. The 6CW title and that title is mine by right... The 6CW title has been held by some of the biggest names this wrestling company has ever seen, but the biggest names is yet to come...

Kent: Tonight, a tag team match of massive importance will take place where I will be sharing the ring with the face of this company, the hero in the eyes of the blind masses, Uryu Ishida. But let me tell you something, Uryu. And this isn't a prediction this a spoiler but your time is up. Your reign is over. No more will the world be subjected to your nauseating fairytale. Because in a few short weeks or months.. it will all come crashing down.

Kent: Uryu, You claim to fight for the people, for their hopes and dreams. Well, I am here to shatter those dreams, to crush their hopes. I am the dose of realism and the antidote to your delusions and these fans delusions. And tonight, Uryu, I will make sure you get a taste, a small taste of why I'm your biggest threat. Uryu, you're in the deep dark sea and I'm the great white shark and baby... I'm tasting blood. I'm tasting blood and it's leading me directly to you because you have the one thing I want... No, the one thing I crave. The 6CW world heavyweight championship...

[The crowd's energy remains, the boos continue who resent Kent and his arrogance. Kent looks into the camera, his ice cold blue eyes staring into the camera a slight unhinged smirk flashes across his face.]

Kent: Uryu, I am no potential ordinary challenger. I am the institution, I am levels above you, and the very definition of greatness. Uryu, you know this deep down and each and every one of you knows it, deep down in your hearts. You can feel it in your bones. I am the one destined to wear the championship, to raise it high above my head, and to reign over this entire 6CWF Universe. This is my kingdom. My universe. where I'm standing right now, this ring, I own this. Those people in the crowd, who bought a ticket? it's because of me. They want to see me, not because of Uryu, no, it's because of me.

[Kent paces the ring, his voice resonating with conviction.]

Kent: But why stand in my way, Uryu? Why have you got the audacity to believe you can stand toe-to-toe with the institution? let alone potentially defend a championship against me? Is it because of Christy James? because Christy is not going to save you from your demise, Uryu. Lets have it right, London. Christy James loves a winner and sure Uryu is a winner right now but given the chance after I make Uryu worship at my feet, you watch Christy James come home with a real king...

[The crowd's reaction enters nuclear heat as some fans rallying behind Uryu Ishida, while others begin a you suck chant aimed at Eddy Kent and his underhanded tirade. Kent evily smirks as he continues]

Kent: You may have achieved great things in your career, Uryu. From every arena, every aisle, every win, every fan meet and greet, you have built a legacy that commands respect. But I am not here to respect your legacy. I am here to dismantle it, to tear down everything you've worked so hard to build. And when the dust settles, your name will be nothing more than a footnote in the story of my ascent to becoming a wrestling god.

Kent locks eyes with the camera, his gaze piercing through the screen.

Kent: So, Uryu, prepare yourself. Prepare to step into the ring with a force unlike anything you've ever encountered. Lets get this straight, the boy you welcomed into the 6WF locker room in 2014 with open arms has grown into a god and I'm just entering god mode. Hell, when nobody gave a damn about me, you, Uryu Ishida, was one of the only faces in the locker room who helped me out. But that was then and this is now and while you have stayed true and remained a pillar of the locker room, you have grabbed your chance as a champion but you are crumbling.

Kent: You are crumbling under the pressure already. These fans know it and I certainly know it.. Ask yourself this, Uryu, why was it so easy for me hit you with a mic-check last week? Just like that... the pressure. You took your eye off the ball and thats why I stuck.

[The crowd's reaction reaches a fever pitch, a symphony of boos echoing through the arena. Kent looks around and continues to speak]

Kent: The 6CW championship represents more than just gold and glory to me. It represents my legacy, my quest for greatness and the countless battles fought by the very greats of this industry. It is a symbol of my destiny, and I will stop at nothing to claim it. Tonight, in this very ring, I will prove why I am the instituiton, the great white shark, and the true ruler of this squared circle. And why I am levels above...

[Kent lowers the microphone, his gaze unwavering as he envisions his impending victory and future world championship goals as the crowd explodes with a cacophny of boos and a sense of anticipation of Kent having a showdown with Uryu Ishida. Kent exits the ring, leaving behind a palpable aura of aggression and determination. As Kent makes his way up the ramp and back to gorilla, the scene slowly fades away.]

Three men are seen sat at a desk. The biggest one wearing a classic 6WF logo T-Shirt. He's sitting in the centre. To the left sits a slightly smaller man. He's wearing a Dicey Reilly shirt and is drinking a beer. The man to the right is smaller than the others and it wearing the brand new 6CWF hoodie and a Naruto cap.
They introduce themselves from left to right

Hi guys and welcome back to 'The Lariat', I'm Dec. And I'm joined by my friend to my left, Craig and also Lee on the end there.

Lee:
Yes hello, welcome back... Tonight we want to look at the events on last week's 6CWF in particular I want to discuss the main event.  So let's start with that ay..
The three men shuffle there papers and Dec reads
Dec: In the Main event we saw Geoff Steel take on Rex Adamson. And it was, I've got to say, a bloody banger. The match was back and forth. The veteran was really showing his experience and a cooler head in some places and the younger man was giving it everything he had, he was out to prove he wasn't done young lion. That he was infact the real deal..

Craig:
What I like, sorry to interrupt you, was the fact that Rex is literally learning as he fights. You can see the cogs turning in his head as he's working out what steels doing here. You can see at one point steel hit him with the spear and he took it all. He caught through the pain and a few minutes later Geoff tried the same spear and Rex simply stepped aside. A really small but very very important thing in a wrestler is the ability to adapt and to think on your feet. Both these men impressed me this week. I can't wait to see what's next for Rex though he's gunna be big I'm telling you.

He turns to Lee who is waiting patiently for his chance to interject

Lee:
Blue Dragon!!! BLUE EFFING DRAGON!! I'm so happy he's back. I love it. The beast just disappeared last time. No explanation, no sign of a return for years. And now this? Its amazing

Dec:
He was a big name back in the old days. He's no Dicey though...

Craig:
The way he's returned here. The mystery of it. I can't wait to see him there in the flesh. To see him interact with the other wrestlers and see where he physically stacks up. Don't forget, it looks like he's been away from the sport for a while. But I must admit, even through that suit, he still looks like a big old boy.

Dec:
Yeah the guys a monster still. I'm just not sure what he's going to have when he comes back. Its either going to be a shadow of his former self

Lee:
Or a beast that's been caged for years and has finally got free?

Craig:
Exactly!! I think we could see something big when he arrives. And this thing with Steel looks interesting, do you you two think it was deliberate distraction?

He looks at the other two before gesturing towards Lee

Lee:
I think it's coincidence.. I think he sent a message to 6CWF not to Geoff Steel or to Rex. I think, judging by the content of the video, he's coming for everyone. And I don't think he's the type of man to single out one man. I think he will come in guns blazing and cause chaos. As he said 'God help anyone who stands in the way'

Dec:
I wouldn't put it last him to want to make an example out of someone though. Geoff Steel has been a star for arguably longer than Blue Dragon. He was there to greet BD when he came to 6WF and Dragon knows that people will remember that.

Craig:
I think there's factors to both arguments. I think if you throw an angry wasp into a room it will sting the first person it sees. I know Steel is p*ssed off but if I was in that room with that wasp. I wouldn't be heading towards it.

Dec:
If I can play devil's advocate for a minute... What if this isn't about Steel at all. What if this is about Rex Adamson? Blue Dragon has told us hes about family and he's shown us he knows how to lead an organisation. What if he's not looking for enemies. What if he's looking for family? Rex Adamson is a former WWE guy no? Other than his uncle max.. what does he owe 6CWF? Why wouldn't he be willing to destroy the company that his uncle and the last generation built. To make way for something new. Something young?

Lee:
BD does have the money according to him. He said he would be willing to do it under the right circumstances. Could he be creating his own thing here?

Craig:
Or does he just want to watch the place burn as he said. All I know is that Blue Dragon is impossible to predict. He's the most honest guy 6WF ever had but at the same time he was a man who would like cheat and steal to get what he wanted. He would always want to prove he's the single toughest man but he also didn't mind manipulating people. A man with no rules so to speak..

Dec:
I'm getting the signal to wrap this thing up. So let's get to the main event. The Question of the Day..

A small jingle plays "Questionnn ooff theee Daaaayyyy...'

Dec:
In one sentence, what can we expect to see with the return of Blue Dragon to 6CWF?

He looks at the others who look blankly at him

Dec:
Ok, I'll go first.. I think we can expect to see Violence, Chaos and some bloody good Matches. You?

Lee:
We can expect to see BD as we knew him. A monster, he will do what he wants when he wants and forget about anyone telling him what to do.

Craig:
That was more than one sentence Lee, away I will give you even less than a sentence. I'll give you a word. What can we expect to see? Destruction..

Remedy by Seether plays and out storms Marty Helms. He strides onto the stage, looks around with disgust and raises his title above his head as the boos rain down. There’s a quick smirk when a cup or some rubbish is thrown down from the fans, and then he storms on once more, almost bounding to the ring

JT: Looks like our new champion has little time to spare…

*Helms has already rolled into the ring and grabbed a mic

MH: Well, well, well, don’t we have a packed house here for 6CWF Second Chance Sunday.

*He paces

MH: Oh, had you not heard? I can’t think of any other f***ing reason why I’d be facing off against Billy whilst his little gym buddy Chuck crows about in the background. If you want to know why I have such loathing for this company, it’s not the sweaty, spotty 4chan faithful in the audience. I’d forget about them entirely if it wasn’t for the smell…must be a tribute to Urinal…

*The crowd boo, but Helms goes to talk over them. 

MH: The thing is…

*But he is stopped by the noise, the wall of sound coming from the seats surrounding him and the ring. 

MH: This…

*He points to the fans around the arena 

…this is my personal submarine. And yet I can’t get the luck to watch you all suffocate to death. 

*The boos hit another level, but now Helms just stands and waits for them to finish.

MH: There is literally no person who is surprised you couldn’t keep it up for more than 20 seconds. Least you don’t have to peel the tissues off your sticky hands here…

*Up they go to boo once more, a few more drinks making their way into the ring.

MH: I’d feel lucky right now to sink to death. God, I know how they feel. I’m trapped in a never ending loop, constantly facing the same ugly mug. Least they’ll get to die, I’ll be stuck beating Tyler Roth again and again. And again. The similarities don’t end there. Just like them, I’m going to have to watch a man s*** himself, although that will be my fault. I expect I can beat him that badly.

*He smirks, gleefully enjoying his own wit

MH: When I win, when I put him down once more, it’s an end to him and his little friend, and the pathway to taking that plastic crown off of Make-a-Wishida. Now there’s someone I wish was running out of oxygen, although he’s enjoying everyone thinking that the only thing he’s going down on is Gazzy’s wife. 

It is absolutely no surprise to me that he’s turned to Geoff Steel for help. There are fresh and young names in this company, but it’s only the old and the desperate who are leaping to his side. You’ve got Robin Reborn coming back and immediately slapping the old man Lex, too! What is it with these pathetic stars, too scared to go after anyone who can stand without back pain? I hope it’s Rex in that final with me, the chance to face someone who doesn’t remember the original f***ing Titanic.

*He stops and looks down the ramp

MH: Of course, I’m not out here to talk to all you. No, I want the wrath of Roth. I want to see him speak without grunting, forming full sentences, but miracles like that don’t happen twice, so I’ll accept a few words and some flexing.

*He opens his arms wide

MH: The invitation is set, Tyler. The World Champion has asked you to the stage, and it’s the last polite request you’ll ever get.

*He looks down the ramp and waits

"Riot" booms through the speakers as Tyler Roth makes his entrance, greeted by monstrous cheers from the crowd in attendance. Roth, dressed in a vest and jeans, stands on the stage for a moment and just glares down at Marty Helms before making his way across the ramp. Security guards can be seen readying themselves in case of a fight breaking loose.

Roth: I guess I should feel honoured....an invitation to share the ring and verbally spar with the 6WF World Heavyweight Champion!

*Roth points to the belt over Helms' shoulder

Roth: I mean that's what you are, Marty, and the history books will never forget it. You're the guy....the number one....and at From the Ashes you beat me one, two, three in the middle of the ring...

*Helms is nodding his head and saying "That's right" as the crowd boo

Roth: I'm a fighting man, damn proud of it, and I can roll with the punches like the best of them which is why I haven't whined and complained about you being a cheating son of a b1tch...

*The crowd cheer at this

Roth: I understand in a fight that (beep) happens right? And sometimes I guy needs to use an exposed steel turnbuckle and a low blow or two in order to get himself an advantage...you did what you had to do, Marty, and I'm sure it was all worth it to stand out here and call yourself world champion...

The problem is, Marty, that in spite of all of that and all of your big talk and mighty dastardly proclamations....I'm still here, still standing....and ready and waiting to rip your head right off your shoulders...

*The crowd are going wild now as the security take a step closer to the ring

Roth: I made it clear last week at Proving Grounds that talking about our problems don't mean (beep) to me....I'm a man of action which is why I marched right out to the ring and punched you in the face.....I'm not going to beg and plead for another shot against you....I'm just going to take it...

*Helms shakes his head at this

Roth: No? Don't worry, Marty...you're going to get your turn to retort and you'll have your moment to insult me and say something shocking and controversial, that schtick ain't tired at all, son......but I just want reality to set in for a moment and I want you to see the big picture...

Monday night at Proving Grounds we are going to war once again....how's the nose by the way? It still looks sore....this time for an opportunity at advancing in the "Road to Royalty" tournament....and I know you're already talking about yourself in the final, I'm sure you've pictured it....but this time you're little fantasy is going to come crumbling down around you and you are going to realise that you had one shot and you blew it....

I know the deal with you, Mart, and I know the reason that everyone thinks you're a real bada55 is because after twenty seven attempts you finally managed to put Cerberus in a box and set him on fire...you know that's foreplay for him right? He was probably laughing his balls off when they wheeled him out of here...

But see now when you face a guy like me...it's one and done....you put me down, you left me out for the count and when you had the chance to solidify yourself as king d1ck around here, you took your little belt and ran away for a bottle of champagne and an ice pack for your face that I broke with my bare hands....

*The crowd roar at this

Roth: Maybe it hasn't sank in yet, I know it's hard accepting you aren't as tough as you'd like to think but you see Monday night at Proving Grounds is when it will start to dawn on you....when you're in this ring with me and you start to understand that all the tricks you pulled last time...they're obsolete....and when you reach down into your bag of "get out jail" cards and realise you haven't got (beep) all left to bail you out....and this sh1tting your pants fetish you keep talking about becomes your living existence as I take you down and beat you within an inch of your pathetic life....and when my hands are stained with your blood once again and the referee realises that I don't give a (beep) this time whether he disqualifies me or not so I will not relent and I will not stop so that they can towel your brow...and I'll keep punching down at your face and pounding and crushing so that none of us ever have to hear the utter sh1te that comes out of your mouth again...

And when it's over, and they're mopping up what's left of you off the canvass....and they're calling up the local hospital to book you in for your transfusions....I want you to take a long look at that championship belt over your shoulder....look at it real good, Marty.....and then, and only then....I want you to remember that we're going to do it all over again....and the punishment and the torture and torment I put you through on Monday is only half of what will await you the next time you have to defend that title against me....that's when it becomes personal, that's when I am really going to make my impression...

You see I don't need a crown to tell me I'm the best.......but what I want is that 6WF World Heavyweight Championship.....and when I want something, I get it....no matter what it takes....

The Road to Royalty crowns a false monarch in my eyes....there's only room for one ruler around here and that's the man who carries the gold...

And sooner rather than later that gold will be mine....and when it is, once again you will rue the day that you had me at your mercy and you chose to celebrate instead...

Because as the old adage says....when you come at the King, you best not miss....and, Marty, your aim was way off!

The cameras cut to the backstage area following proving grounds, we are currently in an uninspiring corridor with nothing to be seen of note, however a loud commotion can be heard ahead. The camera shakily makes its way down the corridor at speed as the person holding it runs to investigate. As the camera burst through a set of double doors we reveal the source of the commotion.

Geoff Steel still in his ring gear can be seen arguing with several of the security team, steel keeps trying to break their ranks as they barely manage to contain him.

Security: Geoff, calm down as we’ve told you nobody has seen him here tonight. You need to leave it.

GS: Liars!

Steel makes another charge this time sending the security team scattering like pins. He runs to the nearest door, then puts his boot straight into it the door barely clinging onto its hinge. Steel barges into the room the camera following him.

GS: Blue!

Steel screams for the man who cost him but to no avail the only people seen in the room are catering packing away their equipment.

GS: Have you seen him?

The catering team look bemused and shake their heads.

Steel lets out a grunt then exits back to corridor, the security team have now regathered and Tim Allen can be seen at the rear of them.

The board look favourably upon you if you keep this up and cause further damage to their arena and staff.

GS: Screw the board on their back room politics they’re as much to blame.

TA: That may well be correct but nothing you do tonight will change anything, please Geoff just go home before somebody gets seriously hurt, you can continue your search for answers next week.

Geoff lands a blow with his fist into a nearby wall then exhales loudly.
