Yeah, like knowing which hanging berries won't kill you and how to carve a 2-seater canoe out of a tree trunk using only a Swiss Army knife.

Totally different to what I was thinking.

OK.
How about shaving the platoon commander's minge using a piece of flint stone when trapped in a dark cave without overexciting the vampire bats but overexciting the glow worms? Am I closer?

Shocked

Big G isn't sure what he's stumbled upon this morning but one thing's for sure, it doesn't displease him.

Enjoy your time in Texas big fella. Go easy on the sphincter for the next 24 hours or so. Grab a burger when you get there (not too much chilli) to give the third eye a good chance of acclimatising to the new microbes.

Now there's a skill worth learning.

Excellent work, PJ, using 'fists' correctly in a fist post without ending it with 'fist'. Makes me proud to be a member of this society.*

Sup, riCK. Just returned from the Motherland. Was there for a few days. Mates wedding. Still a sh*thole but had a great time. Can confirm that neither Supes mate Mugger Matt or Captain Poofinger were at the wedding.

Mrs Windows hates Runcorn so much she outright refused to come. Her loss.

You been back recently? How is the cut and thrust of corporate law?

wagwarn, Tino? Not been back for a while, usually, much like you, for weddings and funerals, though the funerals are ramping up, and the weddings down, honestly, Northwich has changed so much and not changed at all it is weird.

Corporate law, as always, is more cut than thrust, I seem to have quite a few American clients at the minute, and that experience is... Different.

Shame about the wedding absences but that just makes the heart grow fonder or something.

This is how it all starts, riCK. This is The Last of Us happening right in front of us.

I'm fairly certain I'll do well in the apocalypse. Married to a Canadian so hunting and fishing is covered and grew up in Runcorn so plenty of experience in fighting off aggressive people with infections.

If that story has taught me anything, it is that I'd rather take the risk of suffering from serious heart disease due to consuming ultra processed food than take the risk of ingesting some b@stard parasite by eating grass foraged by some hippy.

Quiet mate, which was nice.

Although Sunday was civil war in the house which made me chuckle. I've got one kid who supports Newcastle and another who follows Liverpool so they were basically trying to kill each other which was pretty funny. I was winding then up to a frenzy then ducked out and took the dogs for a walk. Left Mrs Windows to mediate.

One of the others supports Chelsea (don't ask) but he is the one I don't really like anyway so can overlook it.

Basically just Scotland anyway.

I still think there were zero instances of Covid in Scotland. It was just people dying at the usual rate due to questionable life choices and heroic levels of cholesterol intake. Covid took one look at Scotland and thought - "nah, not worth the bother".

Sounds like the equivalent of the reason we don't have nasty poisonous spiders in our houses - in that we have f*ck off huge house spiders that eat them.

Tick.

As I read that, Tino, a tiny spider (I thought it was a fleck of dust) moved quickly across my computer screen. Its little legs were moving at a rate of knots. Still took about 20 seconds the disappear from view. It'll probably grow up to become a monster arachnid... if I don't accidentally swallow it.

I've never heard of Warrigal greens, btw. That worm must have been having a great time swimming around in her brain. Much warmer than AI.

I also read that story this morning here but the bbc link has some other gruesome related topics like the "Florida resident dies from brain eating amoeba" story. Who the hell rinses their sinuses with tap water anyway? I just use turps or petrol usually. Does the job.

Poor little thing must go pretty hungry in Florida.
