It has been an unlucky one, The Sainsbury's don't have a four-pack of fizzy water for less than two bottles of the same fizzy water at The Local Sainsbury's For Local People.

RICk my northern chum. Went to the Motherland for a party this weekend. Did also pop into Northwich to pick a mate up. It is sh*tter than I remember. It isn't quite Runcorn sh*t but it isn't far off now.
Party was great. Proper North West gig. Night ended with a 74 old mate of my dad's having a punchup with the 20 year old son of one of the other guests.
First time I've managed to persuade Mrs Windows to come to Runcorn with me in a good 6 years. Then she walks outside and sees me watching 2 men rolling on the floor covered in blood. Literally didn't talk to me the entire drive back Sarf the following day. She's never going back up there.

Nice, I think Northwich has a nice bit now but I am not cool enough to go down there. Baron's Quay I think it is called.
Classic Northern wedding behavior, is your mate from Northwich? Or just got drunk and ended up there, like those stories of people ending up on a Polish Merchant Navy vessel.

The 74 year old is originally from Croxteth which explains why he has no qualms with engaging in a straightener with someone 54 years younger.
He lives in Widnes now. Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
My mate is from Runcorn but was staying with his new missus who lives in Northwich. I didn't see her but he assures me that she has all her own teeth.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
Croxteth is some place.
I would say that I knew your mates missus, as it would be likely due to age etc. but if she has all her own teeth then she may not be from there.

Only just read Tino's excellent weekend review. Bloody good stuff. Haven't seen a punch-up with such an age difference since I lived in Cricklewood.

Or those scenes in The Dirty Dozen (or Filthy Half Dozen in our case) when the Major goes from cell to cell recruiting the personnel for the secret mission. I like the way they all have different personalities, different life stories and have all committed different crimes at some stage in the past.
A bit like us.

Just had a massively cringeworthy work moment. Was on a call about some reporting I'm taking over from another team, mentioned how substandard the existing reporting is only to be told that the lady hosting the call is responsible for it. To make matters worse, my laptop then decided that a forced update was necessary so that it looked like I did a runner.

Thought I'd find you guys in here queuing up for your silly cucumber sandwiches... in your little tea posie club... you sure are a bunch of fruitcakes.
As Cleveland said at the 1883 Democrat Convention.... "I look for things that are left of center, something you've only seen your whole life, but never heard. ..." I guess he was right...
Oh no. He's found our little tea club society.

That's nice of you, Galts.
Pity it's had no affect on Olly. I note the vitriol he spews out about Warner... which is fully deserved of course. Was just saying to my brother (who's here from Singapore) that the Indians probably appreciate him more than us. I was kind of hoping that first ball appeal would see him on his way (for good) but he somehow managed to find an edge. Anyway, Marsh has gone now... followed quickly by Maxwell. Warner still there.

A close friend of mine has just gone through it, the masectomy thing is particularly an issue due the tissue difference and replacement issues.
From a female it can come from the @55 where there is lots of available tissue, from a bloke, not so much.
On the plus side, his hair has now grown back.
