Solid footwear, Galted. That is the key.

Solid footwear and Gore-Tex. Doesn't get you the girls, but at least you'll be dry.

Took your advice and wore both (all three if you count the footwear individually).  The only people getting wet were all the women watching me from their front windows.

They should close them when it's raining.

I thought this was quite funny but chose not to l*l out loud as it was at my expense.

F*ck me, becoming obese in Australia isn't cheap.

Yeah, wouldn't pay $11 (£5.72) to $18 (£9.36) for one of those.
Some of those profits are sent offshore to aid the freedom fighters in the Gaza Strip and elsewhere I'd imagine.

Actually got one from the local fish & chip shop here for $5.50 (£2.86) today from a good old Greek family. Their calamari is top notch too.

The daughter is quite pretty and always smiling but she'd look even better if she wasn't getting continually sprayed by boiling hot fat and oil from the cookers. Was thinking of inviting her up for a swim but would have to scrub her down first to prevent the pool filters clogging up.

It was a good joust between Julio and Duty, that is for sure.

Pr4wn is a bit of a d*ck though. Who the hell flounces off a t'inernet forum just because you disagree with someone. However vehement that disagreement is. Get a grip you f*cking baby.

Yep - much better to leave with quiet dignity like some of the CC members who all managed a dignified departure regardless of the reasons:

Jeff - became a social media sensation
Shah - jihad
Michaels - f*ck knows - probably homeless and just had his tent taken away by Duty
Union - the autism institute revoked his access to the internet

I reckon Union was probably beaten to death in a pub carpark after correcting the grammar of the local hard man.

There's not a week goes by where I don't think about that.

Also recently remembered the Jolly Green Giant thread where he announced his retirement from the board because he'd accidentally slept with his boss's wife and had been sacked.

F*cking mental, Tino, wouldn't mind a stream of coke and hookers to calm things down.  Made a jelly on Sunday, bought a travel mouse for my kid to use, bought a new USB hub to accomodate the mouse and, as if that all wasn't enough, I put my sandal selection into a box under the bed ready for next summer.

Hope things are a bit more sedate where you are.

1. A family member of mine would find such an extraordinary anti-reptilian moniker quite offensive, vile and hateful, Julius.
Is that incontrovertible evidence? No, just as you have no actual evidence that all 300,000 of the man-eaters prefer white meat, it's just an argument. You're entitled to that opinion, of course, but I draw the line deliberately setting out to create division for one's own purposes.

2. And yet you yourself said that you would not have challenged them. Neither would I have done, for that matter. Nor did you argue against the other reasons I gave why people would not have challenged them. It is totally unrealistic to expect members of the public to challenge a saltwater crocodile.

3. That is my gut feeling, which I'm allowed to have, whilst recognising that it is just a gut feeling. If nothing else, it helps my zoological ambitions.

4. You'll be saying the pursuit of some sort of utopian adventurism is a life-style choice next. I beg to differ. It's mostly genetic but the environment can play a significant part; along with the degree of effective parenting methods naturally.

5. Civic

6. However, sometimes it's better just to let go and let things sort themselves out with minimum intervention. Eventually, one might come to their senses and surprise you with a more developed sense of wisdom and experience and you'll probably be thinking: What was I worried about?

7. The local police, of course, have been institutionally cautious for a very long time, so in that sense, yes they have always had a two-tier policy. There was no other violence to speak of and the police are issuing photos of those they wish to investigate, who can possibly help find the missing fisherman.

8. It is a shame you're not given to self-reflection. It is a difficult trait to obtain, but it is quite useful.

9. Piers Morgan is a c*nt.

10. The UK has lost the plot, and so has this board. Whilst you're still here spewing this hateful, deliberately misrepresentative nonsense, I'm out. I'm not going to reply further on this, because I find your position so offensive that at best I can only view it as hopelessly naive and at worst to be....let's just leave it at that.

When this hateful, manipulative, far-right individual finally gets banned, someone please PM me and then I'll come back.

p.s. This is a palindromic post.

Mrs Dagless has her birth week early in December so have to get that out of the way first.

Though on the plus side she doesn't want to go to Aberdeen now after googling it.
